Wellcoat varnish is a single pack alkyd based clear coating designed
for wooden surface. The product enhances the natural look of wood & has good
resistance to normal mechanical & chemical attack including water & moisture. It is
also resistant to microorganism & termite growth & can withstand moderate PRODUCT
temperature hence very useful for kitchen & bathroom. The product works very well
in wooden floor & stairs with heavy wear.
The product is available in clear & variety of wood colors in high gloss, matt & silk-matt
version.

The product is best applied by brush / roller & can also be applied by conventional
spray.
Ensure wood is dry, clean & free from contaminants. Use Wellcoat Cleaning thinner for SURFACE
cleaning the wood surface before sanding ( if required ). Sand the surface with a coarse PREPARATION &
(P 180) followed by fine sand paper (P 400) along the direction of grains. Dust off the APPLICATION
surface & apply two coats of Wellcoat varnish with a gap of 6-8 hrs. If the surface
is already painted & the film is strongly adhered on the substrate use Wellcoat paint
stripper before sanding & application of subsequent coats. A coat of Maxiwood NC
filler or Aqueous filler may be used if grain filling is required.
Storage & Disposal : Store in cool, dry condition. & dispose by controlled land fill as
per requirement of statutory authority. Don’t empty into drains,
sewers or other water courses. STORAGE &

Shelf Life : Upto 12 months under sealed condition.
• Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as
overalls,
• goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
• Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being
