QN (02)
i. Deo Store should consider adopting a hybrid revenue model for Bangladesh, combining transaction-
based revenue, subscription fees for premium services, and possibly advertising partnerships. Given the
diverse market, flexibility in revenue streams can enhance sustainability.
ii. Wayfair employs a B2C (Business-to-Consumer) model, focusing on selling furniture and home goods
directly to end consumers. They utilize a dropshipping model, collaborating with numerous suppliers to offer
an extensive product range without maintaining their inventory. This strategy minimizes inventory costs and
provides a broad selection for customers.
iii. E-commerce technology plays a pivotal role in developing strategies for DeoStore in Bangladesh.
Implementing advanced analytics, AI-driven personalization, and secure payment gateways can enhance
customer experience and loyalty. Integration with mobile platforms is crucial, given the prevalence of
smartphones in the region.
iv. The technological and market relationships in e-commerce involve dynamic interactions. Technologies
like AI, blockchain, and data analytics influence market dynamics, enabling personalized experiences.
Market relationships range from B2B (Business-to-Business) collaborations among suppliers to B2C
interactions with end consumers, creating a complex network.
v. People make money through e-commerce by engaging in various roles such as online retailing,
dropshipping, affiliate marketing, and creating digital products. E-commerce entrepreneurs can generate
income through effective online marketing, leveraging social media, and providing unique products or
services that cater to specific customer needs. Success often requires a combination of strategic planning,
digital skills, and understanding market trends.
