MMS Semester III
SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT REPORT
The MMS students are required to submit the Summer Project Report as per the guidelines
mentioned below:
(a) Summer internship forms an integral part of the MMS program. The course will remain
incomplete without completion of the project as per the guidelines.
(b) Students have been allotted a Project Guide. The student should interact with the respective
project guide by fixing up a mutually convenient time and mode of interaction. The student
should get the best possible clarity on the approach towards the internship and the subsequent
project work to be done during this interaction.

(c) The project guide will be in touch with the student and the corporate guide regarding the
progress of the student’s internship.

(d) The project work should start with preparation of the Project Synopsis (format given).
Students must finalize the Topic for the project work based on the work given during
internship. The topic should be finalized in consultation with the respective Project Guide. The
synopsis approval will take place On or before 2nd November 2023. Once the synopsis is
approved by the Project Guide the students can proceed with the project work. Project Guide
will have to be continuously updated about the progress made by the student in the project.

Students will have to submit the questionnaire to the Project Guide On or before Wednesday,
(e) 8th November, 2023. The respective Project Guide will go through the questionnaire and suggest
if any further changes are required. The student has to make the relevant changes and get the
changes re-approved. Then the student will proceed for final draft.
(g) Upon approval for the draft copy the student can proceed for the black-binded copy of the
project with golden embossing.
(h) The black-binded project copy with golden embossing has to be submitted to the concerned
Project Guide Wednesday, 20th December 2023. No extension would be provided for the
same.
(i) All the approved projects and presentations will have a Pre-Viva Presentation Evaluation by
the internal faculty members, Saturday, 6th January 2023.

(j) The guide will grade the project and forward it for further evaluations. Only if the guide
approves the project it would be considered for viva evaluations.

(k) All the approved projects will have their Viva Presentation, Evaluations by Corporate
Panelists.

(l) During the viva each student is required to make a power point presentation of 10 minutes
followed by questions & answers on the same. Each project will be evaluated on the following
parameters:

who carry a casual attitude, who have not adhered to deadlines and prescribed format, do not
have any knowledge about the topic etc
.
(h) The best project & presentations made by students in their respective specializations chosen by
the project guide and corporate panelists will be shortlisted for ‘Best Summer Internship Project
Award.’
