Find your Android MAC address
Android devices with Android 10 and higher
For Android 10 and higher, the device assigns a randomised MAC address for each SSID by
default. When using a hotspot with HOTSPLOTS there are basically two options:
Option 1: Keep the default setting and use randomised MAC address. If the MAC
address should be registered as free, the specific MAC address for the corresponding
SSID must be retrieved.
How to find the randomised MAC address
Open the settings of your device (*). Select “Wireless & Networks“ and choose “Wi-Fi“. Tap
the gear icon of the selected Wi-Fi. There you can find the randomised MAC address and
switch this function on or off.
Option 2: Turn off the randomised MAC address for the selected Wi-Fi connection and use
the device‘s MAC address instead.
How to find the device MAC address of your Android mobile device
