A – Connect to WiFi
Connect to your Home WiFi or mobile hotspot.
a. After switching on your device for the first time, press the
SELECT button – you will be asked to “Configure Network?”,
select “Yes”.
b. Select your WiFi network from the list and type in your WiFi
password. Select when done to connect. To change networks,
from the Main Menu go to: Settings>Change WiFi Network.
B – Activate your Device
Your device must be activated before first use.
a. Once you’ve connected to WiFi, you’ll see the WiFi icon in top
left. Now SELECT “Find MyMasjid” and you will see a QR code.
b. Scan the QR code using your smartphone camera (or any QR
scanner app) and you’ll be taken to our registration page. If
you’re unable to scan the QR code, please see point (e) below.
c. Fill in the form with the correct details - once complete,
press “Activate”.
d. Now restart your device using the ON/OFF switch on the back of
the device.
e. If you are unable to scan the QR code in point (b), go to
mymasjid.uk and click the WhatsApp chat option for help.
C – Find Your Masjid
Browse our Directory to find your masjid and start listening.
a. Go to mymasjid.uk/directory on your phone/PC browser.
b. Find your masjid from the list. Once selected, your masjid’s
details (name, ID, Location, Type) are on the following page.
c. On the Receiver, select "Find MyMasjid" on the Main Menu.
d. Here you can find your masjid by Search, Region, or Type,
using the details you found online in part (b):
i. Search: select “Search”, then type the masjid name or ID
that you found in part (b) - correct spelling is needed.
ii. By Location: select “By Location”, then select the
location(s) you found earlier in part (b).
iii. By Type: select “By Type”, then select the type you
found in part (b).
e. Now SCROLL through the list to find your masjid - online
masjids are marked with a * and are shown at the top.
IMPORTANT: Only masjids fitted with our MyMasjid Digital
Transmitter MMT system will be listed in our Directory. If
your masjid isn’t listed, see section E or G to manually add
your own masjid (if you have their live stream URL).

D – Add to Favourites
Add stations to your Favourites for quick access.
a. Once you’ve found your masjid, it can be added to Favourites.
b. Press SELECT on your masjid, you’ll be taken to the Playback
screen - if the masjid is live, it will start playing.
c. Press to add this station to your Favourites.
E – Add Your Own Masjid
If your masjid isn’t listed in our Directory, add it manually.
a. From the Main Menu, go to “My Added Stations>Add New Station”.
b. Type in the full live stream URL, then select .
c. Now type in the name of the masjid/station, then select .
d. This will now be listed in “My Added Stations>Added Stations”.
e. Go to Section G to add the station using your smartphone.
F – Playback Screen
See your currently playing station and its playback status.
a. When you SELECT a station, you’ll be taken to the Playback
Screen. This shows you the name of the station in the blue
bar, as well as the playback status:
i. “Now Live”: device is connected, and station is
currently live. This icon will appear in toolbar.
ii. “Stopped”: live audio manually stopped by user. This
icon will appear in toolbar. Press SELECT to resume.
iii. “Connecting…”: device trying to connect to last
selected station. This icon will appear in toolbar.
b. As mentioned in section D, here you can press the button to
add the currently selected/playing station to your Favourites.
c. Holding the button for 3 seconds on any page will also
bring you back to the Playback screen.
G – Remote Connect (via browser)
Manage your device remotely using any smartphone browser.
a. SELECT the “Remote Connect” option from the Main Menu.
b. Scan the QR code using your smartphone camera (or any QR
scanner app), you’ll be redirected to a page in your browser.
c. From this page users can:
i. Set a Priority Station: your device will automatically
switch to the Priority Station when it goes live.
ii. Manage your Favourites and Added Stations lists.

H – Edit Mode
Reorder or Delete a station from your Favourites or Added Stations lists.
a. From your “Favourites” or “Added Stations” lists, hold the
SCROLL/SELECT button on any station for 2 seconds to enable
“Edit Mode”. This icon will appear in the toolbar.
b. SCROLL to the station you want to edit:
i. To move: press SELECT, text will turn red. Use the
SCROLL button to move up/down, press SELECT to confirm.
ii. To delete: press , then “Yes” to confirm.
c. Hold SCROLL/SELECT again for 2 seconds to exit Edit Mode.
I - Keypad Lock
Lock your keypad to prevent unwanted button presses, useful around children.
a. From any page, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to
disable all buttons including the volume dial. This icon
will be visible in the toolbar when the keypad is locked.
b. To unlock, hold the button again for 5 seconds.
J - Firmware Updates
This allows us to resolve minor firmware bugs and release new features.
a. Your device will auto-reboot daily at 09:00 BST, this will
trigger any pending firmware updates.
b. Depending on your network speed, updates can take up to 5
minutes. DO NOT power off the device or press any buttons
while the update is in progress.
c. Once complete, the device will reboot.
