Resolution No. series of 2011

A resolution requesting the Hon. Mayor Francis G. Ong for financial assistance in
the amount of 5000 php for the purchase of reading and reference materials for the
Day Care Center

Whereas, RA 7160 provides that the basic services in the Barangay includes the
provision of information and reading facilities;

Whereas, RA 6972, otherwise known as the “Day Care Law”, provides the need for for
the total development of children through mental stimulation activities and wholesome
recreation;

Whereas, the development of children will be more effective with the aid of reading and
reference materials;

Whereas, the Barangay has no available funds for the purchase of such materials.

Be it resolved as it is hereby resolved that the request for financial assistance to the Hon.
Mayor Rancis G . Ong in the amount of 5,000 php for the purchase of reading and
reference materials for for the Day Care Center be approved.

Resolved Further that the copy of this resolution be furnished to the agencies involved for
their knowledge and information.
