I’m pretty good and thank you for asking.

So class, now I will share with you the dialogue text and what I want all of you to do is pay
attention to the dialogue text and read the dialogue text.

Manner and Style)

Ok, Adit read the dialogue please. Eye contact to Adit ( Giving variations in Teacher
Manner and Style)

Adit read the dialogue.

Oke class, after you read the dialogue text, you need to determine specific information in the
dialogue text and you can use 5w + 1 h for example who starts to give an opinion, what makes
Andi agree with Bibo? , and why does Bibo disagree with Andi?

I will explain to you why we need to use 5w + 1 h to determine specific information, this based
on Mardiyani Mardiyani, Apriliaswati Apriliaswati, and Eusabinus Bunau’s research about
Improving Student’s Reading Comprehension on Narrative Text Through Herringbone
Tecnique in 2015. They states by asking six comprehension questions such as who, what,
when, where, why, and how. Those can make easier for students to find detail information in
the text. ( Explaining).

The reason why 5w + 1 h can make easier for students because it already including place,
circumstances, and reasons.

For example you can use “Why” and “How” for aksing some reasons.

Is that clear, everyone? (making things clear)

Pausing 30 seconds waiting for students if they have questions ( Giving variations in
Teacher Manner and Style)

Alright, if everything is clear for you, now I’d like to ask you, what specific information
you get from the dialogue text?

Students mention some specific information they get from the dialogue text.

Alright, good job everyone. Now, I think all of you already understand the material.
Joint Construction of the Text

Okay, class. Firstly, I want all of you to please make a group consisting of 4 students.

And then, read the dialogue text carefully.

Lastly, I would like you to work in a group and all of you need to determine some specific
information in the dialogue text and fill your answer to the worksheet that I already give to all
of you.

I give you five minutes to do this group work. ( making things clear).

Are there any questions? ( making things clear).

If there’s no question, you can start from now. ( making things clear).

Moving to the behind and beside students to check the student’s activeness in group. ( Giving
variations in movement)
( 5 minutes later )

corrected and we will discuss it together.
