SCHOOL TRIP TO ROME

Last month I went on two-day a school trip to Rome.


My schoolmates and I had a very good time and saw
very interesting things!
We are students in a secondary school in Milan. We
left on Octobe 22nd at 7 am, so we all got up very early.
We travelled by train, and it took us three hours to
get to Rome. I like travelling by train because it is
comfortable, and I can read during the travel. This
month, I’m reading a Harry Potter book. We reached
Rome at about 10 am and we met our local guide. It
was a young woman named Gabriella. On the first day,
we visited the Colosseum where I took a lot of photos.
I also bought some souvenirs for my mum and my sister. Then, we visited Piazza di Spagna and Piazza
Navona which are very famous squares, as well as the Trevi Fountain that is famous all over the world
and is always crowded with tourists. We stayed in a comfortable hotel called Bella Roma. On the
following day we went to the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel, and I enjoyed the visit a lot.
The Sistine Chapel is amazing! Late in the afternoon we caught the train to Milan. What a wonderful
experience! I hope I’ll go to Rome again very soon. By Camilla
