Introduction
Preparing the body while still young has several benefits physically and psychologically
because a pattern has been set. Following the routine is easily done since the body is used to activities
and becomes a lifetime habit.
There is a vital need to know if one is healthy or at risk of cardiovascular diseases. Some tests
will be conducted so that the body is properly monitored and assessed.
Objectives
After working on this module, you should be able to:
1. Measure the aerobic capacity of the body;
2. Determine the muscular strength and endurance:
3. Measure the flexibility level, and
4. Assess the fitness level through body measurements.

Knowing your current fitness status can help you a lot understand your body and its responses
to any stimuli. This is also your chance to help and improve your body wherever aspect it needs to be
improved and sustained. Physical fitness is always associated with your intellectual functioning. You
can only be effective and efficient if you do not carry the symptoms related to poor health.

1. Analyze the kind of health status you are having right now.
2. Choose one health component you wish to understand your body with: Cardiovascular fitness,
flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and body compositions.
