III. PROBLEM PRESENTED:


Last September 21, 2023, the office was informed by the PNP, Tabuk City
regarding the case of the client. As per gathered from the client when she came to this
office to report what did her live-in partner did to her. Client claimed that she is an
alleged victim of VAWC, since 2019.

IV. HISTORY OF THE CASE:


Last September 21, 2023, the client came to the office to report what his live-
in partner did to her according to the client she had been physically abused by his
live-in partner since they live together in 2019. She did not complain because
according to her, her live-in partner told her that he has Kalinga blood. According also
to the client last September 9, 2023, Mr. Micheal Gacuya came to their boarding
house in purok threes Bulanao, Tabuk City then he saw Ms. Emma Corpuz, then he
leaves but Emma chases him she said to him that they should talk but Micheal said to
her that what are we going to talk about. Emma said to him that they should talk about
their situation, but Michael don’t want to talk about it. Because it’s raining Emma
entered at the tricycle and Micheal started to drive the tricycle so fast but Emma
notice that Micheal headed the tricycle at hilltop the boarding house of his mother
Emma said to Michael that stop the tricycle, but Michael said to her that you can jump
if you want. Emma force to take the steering wheel but Micheal stops the tricycle and
he punch Emma two times and Emma lying at the ground and he punch Emma again
with her singet, the client asked for help, but nobody help her and then, the clients
live-in partner brought her at PNP Bulanao Tabuk City.
V. FAMILY BACKGROUND AND ECONOMIC CNDITION:
The client is from Piat Cagayan, she disclosed that she has 2 kids at her
previous live-in partner in Cagayan and currently under the custody of her sister at
Piat Cagayan, but client narrated that her two kids are coming to Tabuk to visit their
mother. Client disclosed that she is weekly spending one thousand pesos to her two
kids in Cagayan.

VII. ASSESSMENT:
This is a case of a client who is an alleged victims of VAWC by her live-in
partner. She is 46 years old the client seems to be in depressed condition when she
came to the office and crying while being interviewed.

VIII. RECOMMENDATION:

With this above data and findings, the social worker recommends the client to
undergo counselling and case conference to lessen the burden of the family.
