Introduction:
Paper is one of the most important and most common products in our day to day lives. Without
even realizing how important it is and what might happen if it’s not here for our use, we have
been using paper for several 100 years and will keep on using it for the next several 100 as well.
Hardly any day goes by in our lives where we have not interacted with paper somehow. Paper is
an important resource and there are several sources of paper. Just like the rest of the world,
Pakistan is an important paper hub as well. So important that an entire market in a strategic area
of Karachi, largest city in the country, is named ‘paper market’. This is where wholesalers and
paper printers have set up their businesses.
Lasani Paper Mills Limited, established in 2010 Company started commercial production in
2010 and established its name as major producer of quality Packaging boards in the country. It
has attained a position of Market Leader in Packaging Boards in particular and is considered as
most Preferred Supplier to Printing and Packaging Industry. The Company is also in export
business and its Packaging Boards are successfully competing in the international market.

Company mission statement, vision and also their goals and objective is most important for
company development and achieving them for their employee and workers. Employee behavior
is also very essential for company organizational environment and achieving their all vision,
mission and goals. Lasani paper mills vision, mission statement and goals are following:

society and our nation.

1. Top Management:
Top management usually sets up goals and targets of the organization top management includes
CFO and CEO. They insure that the goals and targets are equally divided in such a way that
every department has the right resources to achieve them.
Top-level managers make decisions affecting the entirety of the firm.
Top managers do not direct the firm’s day-to-day activities; instead, they set goals for the
organization and direct the company to achieve them.
Top managers are ultimately responsible for the organization’s performance, and often,
these managers have obvious jobs.
Top-level managers require having excellent conceptual and decision-making skills.
2. Middle Management:
Middle management is involved to take care of all the activities of head office and factory. They
are responsible for the actions taken by lower management and they have to report to top
management.
Middle-level managers are responsible for carrying out the goals set by top management.
They do so by setting goals for their departments and other business units.
Middle managers control, motivate and assist first-line managers in achieving business
objectives.
Middle managers also communicate upward by offering suggestions and feedback to top
managers. In addition, because middle managers are more involved in the day-to-day
workings of a company, they may provide valuable information to top managers to help
improve the organization’s bottom line
3. Lower Management:
Lower management is under the influence of middle management. They have to follow orders of
middle management and have to look out all the activities of factory and are responsible to report
to middle management on daily bases.

First-line managers are responsible for the daily management of line workers the
employees who produce the product or offer the service.
There are first-line managers in every work unit in the organization. These are the
managers that most employees interact with daily, and if the managers perform poorly,
employees may also perform poorly, may lack motivation, or may leave the company.
Although first-level managers typically do not set goals for the organization, they have a
powerful influence on the company.

Firstly planning is done by middle management and they report to top management about
their planning's then the top management consults with each other and approves or rejects
those planning's. When plans are approved then goals are set and targets are assigned to

dealers issues etc. they resolve their issues by mutual cooperation of all managers and
legal advisors and by the help of their market goodwill.

Chain of command: Chain of command is followed strictly in the organization decision
are taken by top management and are passed to middle management and middle
management is responsible to implement those decision by the help of lower
management.
Formulation: Lasani paper is a formalized organization. All the rules and regulations are
clearly known by the employees and they strictly follow those rules.
Span of control: All the control is in the hands of CEO and the employees are restricting
to follow the orders of CEO.
Horizontal Differentiation:

of products.

discussed above planning is done by the middle management and then reports to top
management and then top management decides whether to approve or reject those plans.

manager in factory reports to the people in office and they try to resolve that issue as
soon as possible.
Monitoring Mechanism of Employees: All employees are monitored by the other
employees evaluate each other’s performance at the end of month. On the basis of these
evaluations employees are promoted or demoted.

rate of export and domestic sales. They produced high level products in best and good reputation
also their employee behavior is also impact on their production and organizational environment.
Skilled employee and best quality workers they haired accounting to their organization aims,
goals and HR requirements. They provide best quality products and also perfect services to their
customers. Lasani Paper Mills is presently a strong universal leader in the Paper industry. Lasani
Paper Mills Limited should focus on to the expansion of their growth and gain benefit of possible
opportunities by ongoing to recover on extents at the business level. They should recover their
employee relationships in order to generate employees all over the world. Packages Limited has

executed an Environmental safety program, which delivers an appreciated necessity and at
similar period presenting their brand name. If Lasani Paper and Board Mills Limited followed
this similar philosophy with Paper goods and environmental safety then it too would
suggestively raise their brand appreciation.
