On behalf of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP), it is my distinct pleasure to convey my
warmest greetings to the Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors (ACEL}, Inc. for coming up with @ new and
updated edition of “The ACEL Equipment Guidebook on Rental Rates”
‘The Construction Industry sector has been facing challenges brought by today's business climate where everything,
is rapidly changing and there is opening up of the market thru the ASEAN Integration. As change is indeed inevitable,
therefore, the industry stakeholders should always strive for success by increasing its core competencies thru acquiring
high-end and latest construction machines and equipment. However, obtaining and buying there right away would
require a significant capital outlay.
This Guidebook provides for a practicable alternative means of purchasing and owning spendthrift machines and
‘equipment thru lease trading. Also this guidebook serves as groundwork for equipment specifications, rental and
purchase rates in order to have an intelligent business decision
‘Among the features of the 26" edition of the Guidebook are the inclusions of advances in technology, new product
lines, and significant improvements to existing praducts together with the prevailing rental and adjustment rates
Lastly, we wish to emphasize that CIAP is proud of the unique and historic partnership it has with ACEL in enhancing
the industry as well as its key components,
To ACEL, we salute you for the job ALWAYS done welll
