…to middle and high school students
A UC Berkeley student-led organization that aims to spread mathematics and the spirit
of mathematical competition globally by presenting students with interesting, original,
hand-crafted problems. As of 2023, we are one of the largest student-run math
competitions on the West Coast with over 2,000 contestants.

November 4, 2023
Our live fall tournament offers teams of high school students the opportunity to share their
interest in mathematics with like-minded individuals and to get a taste of the concepts
studied in higher mathematics.

Our partner ASDAN serves students in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and
nearby regions.
BMT 2023 Online

The online version of our flagship high school tournament, for students who can’t make it to

Berkeley mini Math Tournament 2023
April 15, 2023
Our annual “mini” in-person tournament for middle school and advanced elementary school
students showcases the beauty and fun of mathematics through exciting formats like the
Puzzle Round and Relay Round, preparing them for future mathematical endeavors.
BmMT Toronto 🇨🇦
April 16, 2023
We are super excited to partner with University of Toronto Schools to offer BmMT to
students on the East Coast and in Canada.
BmMT China 🇨🇳
May 27–28, 2023
Hosted by our partner ASDAN, this satellite brings BmMT to students in China and other
nearby regions.
