Determine the field Density of Soil (Compaction) in place by the Sand Cone method from the following
Data and given formula?

Field Density Test Data

1. Initial Weight of Sand Cone Apparatus fill with Calibrated Sand = 8512 gm
2. Weight of excavated Soil from hole = 4756 gm
3. Residual Weight of Sand Cone Apparatus fill with Calibrated Sand = 2982 gm
4. Sand fill in Cone = 1708 gm
5. Unit weight of Calibrated Sand = 1.475 gm
6. Moisture Content = 12%
7. Maximum Dry Density. =1.70 cm3

Formula
1. Volume of hole = wt. of Calibrated sand to fill the hole / unit weight of sand.
2. Wet Density = Total excavated soil from the hole / total volume of the hole.
3. Dry Density = Wet density x 100 / moisture % + 100
4. Compaction = Field dry density / Lab density (proctor) x 100
