An angel appeared to Mary and told her she would give birth to Jesus, God's son. Mary trusted in God's will. An angel also appeared to Joseph in a dream, reassuring him to not be afraid and to follow God's plan. Mary and Joseph married and traveled to Bethlehem for a census, but could only find shelter in a manger, where Mary gave birth to Jesus. Wise men followed a bright star and found Jesus in the manger, fulfilling an angel's message that Jesus would bring light and love to the world through God's sacrifice.

[ STANDBY: Mary ]

2000 years ago, when King Herod ruled Judea, God sent the Angel Gabriel to a young woman
who lived in a village called Nazareth. Mary was the name of the girl, who was engaged to a
man named Joseph.

[ ENTER: Gabriel ] [ Gabriel – apply PROPER gestures through dialogue ]

[ PROVIDE SPOTLIGHT FOR ANGELS!!! ]

One night Gabriel, the Angel, appeared in front of Mary, sending a message, "You will give birth
to a baby boy, He will be God's own son and His kingdom will have no end. You will call Him,
Jesus."

Mary's faith in God is what led her to trust in His will.

[ DIM LIGHTS EVERY CUTSCENE!!! ]

[ CUT SCENE – EXIT: Mary | ENTER: Joseph ]

[ Narration, then pause before the dialogue ]

Upon receiving the news, Joseph became very worried, so an Angel appeared in His dream
relaying a message, "Don't be afraid, Mary is chosen by God to be a Mother to a child who you
will call Jesus who will later save His people."

[ DIM LIGHTS EVERY CUTSCENE!!! ]

[ CUT SCENE – ENTER: Mary ]

Then Joseph began to follow what the Angel had said and married Mary.

[ DIM LIGHTS EVERY CUTSCENE!!! ]

[ CUT SCENE – ENTER: Agustus ]

[ NIGHT SETTING: DIMMED LIGHTS ]

[ APPLY VISUALS: Night Sky / Stars ]

Mary and Joseph traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem because the Roman Emperor, Agustus,
ordered everyone to return to the town where they originally came from, in order to ensure that
everyone would pay their taxes.
[ DIM LIGHTS EVERY CUTSCENE!!! ]

[ CUT SCENE – EXIT: Agustus ]

The baby was due to be born sooner. So, when they got to Bethlehem they desperately needed
a room to stay. However, due to Agustus' order, every house was full. Mary and Joseph then
had no other choice but to take the shelter they could find, a manger.

[ BGM: Animal noises (manger scene) ]

Mary gave birth to Jesus, in the place exactly where animals were sheltered.

[ DIM LIGHTS EVERY CUTSCENE!!! ]

[ CUT SCENE – EXIT: Mary and Joseph | ENTER: 3 wise men ]

[ BRIGHTER LIGHTS (bright star signification) ]

Meanwhile, the 3 wise men were studying the stars when they saw a brand new bright star,
knowing how important their discovery was, they followed the star towards the manger where
Jesus was born.

[ ENTER: Mary and Joseph ]

[ PROVIDE SPOTLIGHT FOR ANGELS!!! ]

The 3 wise men have seen what the Angels had foretold, that the baby Jesus would bring a light
of love to the world.

[ CUE: Silent Night BGM (instrumental – until chorus) ]

A love that would touch our hearts and would remind us for all eternity of God's love and
sacrifice for us.

[ BLACK OUT – EXIT: ALL ACTORS ]

[ ENTER: Bro. Eugene ]
