Task 2

Three collaboration tools that can be used for project work in a course are:

Slack

Slack is a platform for team communication that provides collaborative tools, real-

time messaging, and file sharing. It helps with team collaboration, channeling conversations,

and disseminating project updates. Slack may expedite communication, eliminating the need

for drawn-out email conversations, which is one reason to utilize it.

Google Workspace

Tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Drive, which

allow for real-time collaborative document editing and storage, are part of Google

Workspace. The simplicity of collaborative editing and cloud-based storage makes it perfect

for group work on documents and presentations.

Trello

Trello is a visual project management application that arranges tasks and tracks

progress using boards, lists, and cards. It's excellent for task and project management. Trello's

ease of use and visual depiction, which makes it simple to see the project's state at a look, are

two reasons to utilize it.

Task 3
Web 3.0, the latest iteration of the web, starkly contrasts its predecessors, Web 1.0 and

Web 2.0. Unlike the static, one-way communication of Web 1.0, where users were passive

recipients, it embodies a dynamic, decentralized, and interactive paradigm. Also, it represents

the "read, write, execute Web that is characterized by several key features as follows:
3

Firstly, it's a Semantic Web, understanding words and context, not just numbers and

keywords, enabling users to create, share, and analyze content effectively. Secondly, it

seamlessly integrates Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, making computers more

intelligent and responsive, particularly when combined with Natural Language Processing

(NLP). Additionally, it connects multiple devices and applications through the Internet of

Things (IoT) with semantic metadata, allowing ubiquitous internet access without relying on

computers or smart devices.

Also, it prioritizes privacy and trust, enabling users to interact publicly or privately

without intermediaries, ensuring trustless data exchange. It also embraces 3-D graphics,

enhancing user experiences in gaming, virtual tours, and e-commerce. Unlike Web 1.0's

centralized control, Web 3.0 allows permissionless participation, where users can engage

without authorization from a central authority. It boasts diverse use cases, spanning

metaverses, blockchain games, privacy infrastructure, decentralized finance, and autonomous

organizations, revolutionizing content ownership and financial transactions.

On the other hand, Web 4.0 is anticipated to be the next major dive in the evolution of

the internet. While predicting its exact features is challenging, some expectations include

even greater integration of artificial intelligence, advanced virtual and augmented reality

experiences, seamless connectivity across devices, enhanced privacy and security, and a

heightened focus on sustainability and green technology. It may redefine how we interact

with information, devices, and each other, ushering in a new era of the internet that's more

intelligent, immersive, and responsible.
