Create Content Without a Niche

The document discusses creating content without focusing on a specific niche topic. It proposes generating content by exploring intersections between one's interests, passions, stories, and questions. It acknowledges some benefits of starting a newsletter for content creation, such as building trust and an email list, but notes it is not necessary. The system described allows for creating various types of content including tweets, blog posts, videos, and podcasts from a single issue of a newsletter or set of tweet templates. Overall, the key idea is that one can create endless content by leveraging different aspects of oneself rather than focusing narrowly on a single topic.

Mindset

I’m not gonna get too philosophical here. I’m actually

going straight to the point.

Whether you like it or not, content creation is all

about mindset.

If you hate writing, you’ll be behind those who love

writing.

You love writing but hate what you write about? You’ll
be behind those who love what they write about (me).

It’s a double edge sword where you have to be

conscious that IT’S OKAY to suck in the beginning
BUT you still have to believe your content IS great.
3 likes, 0 comments. Nobody cared! I didn’t because
that was my mindset. I genuinely believed it would
be like that for the upcoming 6 months AT LEAST.

I genuinely believed that I was continuing to get

between 3 to 10 likes max for the upcoming 6 months
AT LEAST. Guess what? People started reaching out
to me saying my tweets are fantastic. I was in
disbelief and, at the same time, proud of myself.

My inner dialogue looked like this:

Oh? Really? I can’t believe it. What do you mean you can’t believe it? Of course men,
you’re great. Up until my narcissistic side leaped haha. Seriously, it’s tough to articulate
it, but I knew I was gonna be great. I just didn’t know when. It just happened sooner than
expected, and bear in mind that I’m on an eternal mission of self-improvement. I’m a
lifetime learner and knowledge seeker.

The System
create content without a niche

First, let’s debunk the biggest myth that you have to niche down
to build an audience. That is simply not true.

I never wanted to settle for this advice since I started on Twitter. It

works for others but not for me.

If you’re reading this, it is probably not working for you either.

I have to stop you now. You don’t even have to “choose” ONE
topic. That’s the biggest reason why you haven’t started yet.

By the end of this guide, you’ll have enough ideas for an entire
month's worth of content WITHOUT having to write about a
specific topic.

Yes, some creators exploded their growth faster than me. I’m happy for them. I
don’t compare myself. I’m playing the long game, FOR ME. My content has depth.
It is not meant for everyone. So, in a way. My content is a niche because it only
attracts specific people. CURIOUS people.

To give you an idea, let’s explore my previous newsletter issues. You’ll see how
there isn’t a specific “niche topic.”

I always suggested starting a newsletter ASAP because that’s

what worked for me, and that’s why I can create endless content
without any problem.

BUT, what worked for me might not work for you. I won’t force
you to create a newsletter, so I give you both options.

Both have pros and cons.

You get to choose what works best for you.

The Hybrid Model

I use both systems.

I don’t rely only on my newsletter to create content, but it’s my main hub.

The concept is simple. I find intersections in my high-performing tweets,

transform them into newsletters, and repeat the process.

Creating content becomes effortless because it’s an endless, infinite loop.

Initially, I don’t care about “quality” but quantity. You test as many ideas as

possible until you find the one that resonates with your audience. The goal is to

do it sustainably. You should never feel “pressured” or “forced” to produce

content. The more you do it, the better you become.

The System
build your own templates

I agree that pre-made templates are great and easy to use when
we start, even if you’re already creating content.

Templates help you save time and brain power.

I don’t have a problem with them, but I just don’t like them
much.

Seeing the same thing every day from 20 different people is

annoying. I don’t wanna be one of them.

I like to create my own because they’re from MY content.

Nothing is original. Probably somewhere, someone has the exact

same idea as me, but the execution is what matters the most.
The System
build your own templates

I use a simple method I “stole” from Inner Practitioner. I call it

“The Trifecta Intersect.” Basically, you put three ideas together
and merge them as a tweet. I loved that he didn’t care about any
“template” or structure.

His tweets are plain paragraphs, and he doesn’t give a single F*.

I adopted the same structure, and to my surprise, it works. My

high-performing tweets are “one-liners, long-ass tweets, and
plain paragraphs.”

I’m always experimenting. It’s a fun game when you play it the
right way. The right way is to find a way to enjoy it. You can’t feel
forced to play a game.

The Branded Tweet
build your own templates

Since the beginning of my journey. I branded some of my tweets

with (“//” + Theme). Such as:

// Bothering Thought // Recent Observation // Curious Question

I don’t use them often because I want them to be “limited edition.”

Whenever I post a Bothering Thought, you can be sure as hell that
it’s gonna be insanely good. A bothering thought, indeed.

The “//” plays an important role. It grabs attention and redirects it

toward the theme.

After reading it, you have a higher chance of unconsciously asking

yourself, “Humm, what’s this bothering thought?”

GENERATE ENDLESS IDEAS

You basically just had access to my brain.

The best way to generate endless ideas is to get better at asking

GREAT questions. It all starts with great questions.

You’re in for a treat. I will give you a list of questions I constantly

ask myself to create content and find new intersections.

You don’t have to answer them. I suggest you take inspiration

and come up with your own questions. But you can still use
them. Your answers are unique to you. That’s what I love the most
about “great questions.”

Everything can be content-worthy. EVERYTHING!

I will show you how.

Who have I met recently? What have I learned f rom them?

What have I noticed in the past week (weekly reflection)?

What have I noticed in the past three months?

What have I learned in the past three months?

How can I improve my weaknesses?

What is my current obsession?

What are my weaknesses?

What am I feeling today?

What are my interests?

How was my week?

What are my goals?

It's easy to dive into platitude and start creating similar BS to

others. Here's the trick, stop consuming other people's content as

soon as possible.

Here's what I mean by that:

Consume content that resonates with you, get inspired, start

creating, and then..CUT THEM ALL.

Start (re)consuming YOUR content.

Start iterating YOUR content.

Start upgrading YOUR content.

I analyze my content and recreate what works well.

Ok, let's comeback at "how everything is content worthy."

To let you know, I'm an extremely lazy person with a lazy mind.

Everything I do is for the sole purpose of maximizing my time.

What have I learned in the past three months?

If you answered nothing, GREAT.

Here’s your piece of content:

I just sat and asked myself “what have I learned in the past three months?”

Guess what? I don’t remember a single productive thing I did.

Am I alone? I doubt it. This is my wake up call to stop victimizing and start creating.

If you have a similar struggle, reach out to me and let’s connect to motivate each other.

How was my week?

Shitty as hell. Why? Explain the reasons.

BUT, here’s the thing. Nobody likes complainers. How about

gratitude?

Even if your week was “shitty,” you can explain why it was shitty

and what you’re gonna do about next week not to repeat the

same shitty week.

Bank of Questions

How can I improve my weaknesses?

It’s okay if the answer is unknown. It is still a possibility of creating a piece of

content.

There is ALWAYS something to say. The difference is “the way” to say it.

1) Write to express your f rustrations, goals, or aspirations (first newsletter)

2) Write to express your observations and experimentations

3) Write about a big creator (agreeing or disagreeing)

4) Write to help others in your previous position (what I’m doing)

You only have to start. I believe you have everything you need.
