1) Object of the evaluation

 What is the formal name of the object of evaluation?

 What is the version of the object to be evaluated (if applicable)?
 Is the evaluation about the whole object, or only about part of it?
 What is the maturity level of the interface to be tested? Is this a low-fidelity
prototype? Is this a version that is already in production or live (on the market)?
 Please provide a summary description of the object and its utility.
 Please set the object’s usage context.

2) Evaluation objectives and research questions

 What are the main reasons behind the evaluation of this object? Note that it is
common for the client not to really see this in terms of problems; he just wants to
evaluate his interface... Therefore, he should be asked which questions he would
like to answer in order to help clarify the evaluation.
 What is the context of this evaluation? Is it the redesign of an existing interface?
Is it a new digital product?
 What development cycle is the object in? Is the application currently in
development and needs feedback to prioritize future development cycles? Is the
app currently in production? Will the evaluation need to justify a budget for its
redesign?
 What are the main pitfalls your users are currently facing?
 What are the important users’ tasks when interacting with the object?
 What are the criteria for success when using the object?
 Do you have any assumptions about the design of the object? For example, do
you have multiple versions of the object to evaluate to determine the best
possible option?

3) User groups targeted by the evaluation

 What are the user groups of the object?

 In the context of the issue covered by the evaluation, which group of users
should be specifically studied?

4) Experience and its boundaries

 What is the ideal path when using your app?

 In the context of the identified problem, what are the main steps of the task or
tasks performed by the user?
 What should the user experience be before, during and after use?
 What is a success?

5) Deliverable format

 In which format would you like the results?

 When should the results of the evaluation be available?
 To whom in the organization is the report intended to?
 Does the report circulate internally to people who did not attend the
presentation?
