-Hi ! I love your new T-shirt !

-Thanks ! I bought it on Coco.

-Oh, I saw a poster about this brand in the street. It was written that most of
the industries where in Bangladesh, and their textils workers are being
exploited.
Their is no real rules in this country to protect these textil workers, so they
aren not so much paid. They are also slapped and punched. But they can't
defend themself because they will lose their job.
- I can't say that I didn't know it since while doing research recently, I found a
report on the working conditions of the workers. . He said that fast fashion is
often produced in countries where workers are poorly paid and work in
horrible and dangerous conditions. I regret buying it now. It is true that in
addition, the high production makes the quality of the clothes mediocre for an
excessive price.
- It doesn't matter.
- I also know that creating new clothes pollutes very much. Fast fashion also
encourages overconsumption. Clothes do not last over time and are therefore
thrown away quickly, which creates waste. This has a huge environmental
impact. By avoiding this clothing industry as much as possible, you could
protect the environment, improve the conditions of workers but also obtain
better quality and durable clothing over time.
Maybe I should buy from more sustainable stores like you!
- Yes, that a really great idea! I also like the fact that there is not so much
popular brands on this chlothes. We simply buy clothes because we think they
are pretty and we care less about the brand we are wearing.
-Yes, when you think about it, luxury brands are often characterized by
excessively high prices while the clothing is the same as in small stores, the
only difference is the brand displayed on the top. We therefore pay for the
image of the brand and not the quality or the real value of the product.
-I totally agree with you. Most the fashions shows are very stange and
superficiel too. Some designer clothes can't even be wear by people because
it's too uncomfortable. Some models even become sick because they don't
eat enought and are stressed out ! But I think now, people are being more and
more conscious about this brands and how they are made, like you now, so it
will hopefully change in the futur. We could get shopping at some thrifts store
one day, I will help you find some clothes I
-That would be perfect !
