TRIPURA CHEMICAL SOCIETY

It is notified that TRIPURA Chemistry Society shall conduct Science Aptitude Test (SAT) for class
VII & VIII and Chemistry Aptitude Test (CAT) in Four stages. Stage-I & Stage-II shall be for the students
of Class IX and X respectively while Stage-III & Stage-IV shall be for the students of Class-XI and XII.
Exam centers are at Agartala, Kamalpur, Udaipur, Belonia, Amarpur, Dharmanagar, Kailasahar,
Khowai and [Link] venue of every centre will be communicated in Admit cards to be issued to the
candidates.
Syllabus for all Tests are available in the website ([Link]) of the society. The
total marks for each test shall be 50 comprising 30 MCQ each carrying 1 mark and 10 questions carrying
2 marks of each. There shall be negative marking @ 1 mark for four wrong answer in MCQ only. The
duration of the test for each test shall be of 1 hour 30 minutes. The candidates securing first 10 positions
in each stage shall be awarded prizes and certificates by the Society in its Annual Conference to be held
in the month of January/February 2020.

The students should note the following points carefully:


Date of Examination: 29th September, 2019, Sunday.
Duration of Examination: CAT Stage – I & II: 10:00 am to 11:30 am; SAT: 12:00 noon to 01:30pm.
CAT Stage – III & IV: 03:00 pm to 04:30 pm.
Distribution of Application form: From 16th August, 2019, Friday.
Last date of submission of filled in Application form: 10th September, 2019 Tuesday.
➢ Each candidate shall have to pay Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty) only as exam. Fee to the Society along with the filled
in application form, countersigned by the Head of the Institution.
➢ The application form may be downloaded from the society website from the website of Tripura Chemical
Society or from Department of Chemistry, Tripura University, Suryamaninagar – 799022
[Link] and from Annapurna Jewllers, Swasti Market, Agartala.
➢ Previous year question papers and application form of 2019 may also be obtained from the society’s website.
IMPORTANT : The Society started a new competitive examination for the students of class VII & VIII
in the name of Science Aptitude Test (SAT) from the year 2017.
