First, let me introduce myself. My name is Rati yimsakul and my coworker. My name is
Pannawat Janglab. My name is Sivakorn Panbanpheaw. My name is Krittayoch Charoenmee.
My name is Chawis Kankajorndech. My name is Ekarin Seethong.
Today, we are going to talk about movie theater trends that we surveyed from making a 10
questions form.
The purpose of this presentation is to let everyone know the results of the form and
assumptions about why the answers are likely the way they are.
Before we start the first question.
Thank you to the 38 people who took the time to completed our forms.
Graph show that the percentage of age of respondent.
The most of respondent are 18 years old. There were approximately 42 percent.
Out of all respondents, more than 68% were male, nearly 24% were female, and less than
8% were transgender.
Let's start with the first question.
The question is “What type of movies do you like to watch?”
Graph show that the percent of respondents who like to watch Action movies were 42.1%,
Romance movies 18.4%, Fantasy movies 18.4%, Horror movies 10.5% and Comedy movies
10.5%
In conclusion, the type of movies that respondents like to watch the most are action movies
We think that’s because this type can show many abilities of director. Make it not boring.
Next, the second question is “What kind of movie theater do you like?
Graph show that percent of respondents who like 2D theater were 36.8%, Imax theater
28.9%, 3D theater 26.3% and 4DX theater less than 10%
In conclusion, Respondents like to watch movies at the 2D theater the most.
There were about 37%. This type has a screen size that fits the audience eyes and it is the
cheapest type. For other type, there are different screens and different unique theater.
The next question is “Which zone do you like to sit in?”.
Graph show percent of people who like to sit in normal zone 57.9%, Honeymoon zone
39.5% and opera zone less than 10%.
The most popular is normal zone. There were more than half of them like this zone.
We think that’s because normal zone is cheaper than other zones.
The next question is “who do usually go with?”.
The graph shows that the percentage of respondents usually go with friend 39.5%, girlfriend
or boyfriend 28.9%, alone 21.1% and family 10.5%
The most popular is Friend. We think that’s because go with friend is the funniest.
the next question is “Do you reserve tickets online or buy at the theater?”.
Graph show the percentage of people who buy tickets at the theater 57.9% and online
42.1%
Respondents buy at the theater more than reserve tickets. We think they may suddenly
decision. And people who reserve tickets online is less popular than buy at the theater
maybe because it’s more complicated.
The next question is “Do you pay cash or mobile banking?”
Graph shows the percentage of people who pay by mobile banking 86.8% and pay by cash
13.2%
The most popular is pay by mobile banking. We think it’s convenient and easy. And pay by
cash is unpopular. We think it is not convenient.
The next question is “What time do you like to go see movie?”.
Everyone can see the graph showing when respondents go to the movies. The graph reveals
that 42.1% of respondents prefer noon, followed by 39.5% for the evening, and 18.4% for
late night screenings. Interestingly, none of them prefer for morning screenings.
The most popular times for going to the movies are noon, while morning is not unpopular.
So, Next let's talk about the important part when we go to the movies. “What do you buy
to eat at the theater?” That’s a question.
You can see the graph that shows what most respondents usually buy. The highest is a
popcorn was 76.3%, Secondary is soft drink was about 47%, next is a water was 39.5%
snacks 5.3% and other 5.3%. I think popcorn is the most popular because popcorn has a
delicious, sweet and salty taste flavor is enjoyable and allows people to snack while
watching a movie.
The next question is “Do you prefer Thai subtitle ar Thai Dubbing?”.
The survey results found that there are 65.8% of respondents interested in Thai subtitles
and 34.2% are interested in Thai subtitles. Or if you think about the number of people
surveyed, there will be 25 respondents interested in Thai subtitles and 13 respondents
interested in Thai. In conclusion, there are respondents interested in Thai subtitles more
than Thai.
Last question is “How many movies do you watch per month?”.
From the survey results, it was found that 55.3% of people watch movies 2-4 times per
month, 1 time per month 39.5%, and more than 5 times per month 5.2%. In conclusion,
most people tend to watch movies 2-4 times per month, probably because they don't have
enough time to find free time to watch movies more than 5 times within a month.
In conclusion of all results, you can see that many answers about movie theater trends.
Answers have both popular and unpopular. We thought assumptions to explain it. If wrong,
