HOW TO DRAW EMOJI IN ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

Hello everyone! Not so long ago, a lesson was published on our blog on How to Draw Different Emotions in Adobe
Illustrator. I decided to develop this topic, and made a new lesson about drawing emoticons in Illustrator or emoji, as
they are also called.

😊🙁😄😁😃🤣
This time we will not make boring emoticons, which have already been drawn by 100,500 pieces. I'm tired of the
standard pictures. My emoticons turned out to be very funny and, most importantly, practical. They fit almost any
object, object or character. For example, catch funny tangerines.

If in the course of the Adobe Illustrator lesson you have any questions or difficulties, then write in the comments. I will
answer and help if possible. If you are a complete beginner, and this lesson seems difficult to you, then I recommend
paying attention to the Adobe Illustrator course step by step. With this course, you will be able to learn the basics of
vector graphics in Illustrator, basic functionality, and useful tricks and techniques. And after the course, you can safely
hone your skills in more difficult lessons.

Let's start by creating a new document, the Ctrl + of N . Its parameters are not of fundamental importance in this case,
so set it in the way that is familiar and convenient for you. And draw a circle using the Ellipse Tool (L)... This will be the
eye. Since we have two eyes, you can copy an ellipse using keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + C and Ctrl + the V .
And we continue to draw circles. Pupils and highlights are also round. Again use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to copy the same
parts.

The nose can also be easily made from an ellipse. To give it a more interesting shape use the Direct Selection Tool
(A) . You can drag the points and handles with the white arrow to change the shape. In my example, I just slightly raised
the top point at the nose.
Again we draw an ellipse, but this is already large. This is a blank for the mouth.

And with scissors Scissors Tool (C) cut off the bottom part. To cut with scissors, just click on the desired place on the
contour.
Select the upper part and delete it with the Delete button on the keyboard.

And then, according to the same principle, we make a line under the smile, showing the volume at the lip. To do this,
draw a large ellipse as in the previous step, only cut off a very small part from the bottom.
This little line will serve us for the eyebrows and other details of the emoji. It can be copied and modified using
the Direct Selection Tool (A) .

The emoticon is ready! It remains to draw a background in the background.

Using simple shapes, you can create a variety of interesting emotions. Here's my final set.
