 Performance will be assessed using HBS Grading Criteria (Rubric)
 Feedback for improvement will be given in writing via your Canvas module site within 4 weeks of
submission
 Lateness Penalty: For each day or part day up to five days after the published deadline, coursework
relating to modules submitted late will have the numeric grade reduced by 10 grade points until or
unless the numeric grade reaches the minimum pass mark (UG 40/PG 50). Where the numeric
grade awarded for the assessment is less than the minimum pass mark no lateness penalty will be
applied. If the coursework is submitted more than 5 days after the published deadline, it will not be

Task

In your group, choose ONE of the following aspects of the Employee Lifecycle:

 Talent Acquisition (ie R & S)


 Learning & Development
 Performance Management and Reward

For your chosen topic, critically evaluate SciNapse’s current approach to this area (see Case Study Part 1).
What are the advantages and disadvantages? Is it optimal, fit for purpose or in need of change?

Develop proposals for any changes/modifications. Support your proposals with reference to relevant
models/theories/literature.

Along with the Powerpoint slides, each group should submit an activity log/team diary which details team
members, number/dates/attendees at team meetings, how activities were shared and what each team
member contributed.

Format

The above should be incorporated into a Powerpoint presentation (up to 15 slides max) which should be
submitted electronically by the due date.

Slides should include:

- A title slide, including names of group members


- Critique of SciNapse’s current approach
- Proposals for changes/modifications, with reference to relevant models/theories.
- You should cite sources and list these at the end. Sources should include at least one text book, one
journal article and one report.
- Activity log/team diary (submit as a separate Word document)
