LAB 5
LAB TASK 1
Simulate a configuration of the network topology which contains two clients
and ten switches find out which one is root among all switches, make one of
them as a root, shut one link, and change priority of one switch. Design the
given network

Pointing Out The Root Bridge
As all the connected ports are designated thus Switch 7 is the root bridge.

LAB TASK 2
Implement the network shown below. Implement STP PVST+ and make S3 as
root bridge and visualize the traffic flow from PC1 to PC4.

Switch 2 is already Current Root Bridge

Implementing Mode PVST+:
By default, Cisco switches use PVST+ mode, so you typically don't need to
enable it explicitly.

LAB TASK 3
Implement the network shown below. Implement STP PVST+ and make S2 as
root bridge, connect PC with each switch and visualize the traffic flow and
display broadcast storm.

Note: There is no broadcast storm occurs according to provided task settings.
CONCLUSION:
In this lab, I successfully configured network topologies with switches and
clients, learned to control STP PVST+ settings to designate root bridges, and
visualized traffic flow and broadcast storms. These exercises enhanced my
network management and troubleshooting skills within a simulated
environment.
