KIDS THREE FINAL EXAM Paper 4
Time allowed: 1 hour
A) Read the story: “Peter Pan”.

Wendy and her brothers, John and Michael, like going to bed early because Wendy always tells
them stories about Peter Pan. Peter Pan is a little boy. He lives in a place called Never Land - a
place full of children, adventures and fun. One night before going to bed, Peter
Pan visits Wendy, John and Michael and takes them to Never Land.
Never Land is a wonderful place. There are fairies living in flowers and mermaids
swimming in a lake. There are red Indians living on a mountain and forests full of
beautiful wild animals. But the best of all are the pirates and Captain Hook.
There´s also a very big crocodile that wants to eat Captain Hook.
Peter Pan lives on a tree with a group of children, “The Lost Boys”. Wendy and Mermaid
her brothers stay in Never Land for seven days and have a lot of fun. Sometimes
they play with the Red Indians, who are good friends, and sometimes they have problems with
the pirates, who are their enemies.
John and Michael want to live in Never Land forever but Wendy says their mother and father are
waiting for them. Peter Pan and his friends organize a big party to say goodbye to them. They
promise to visit Never Land once a year to play with The Lost Boys and the red Indians again.
