An internship in sales is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on
experience in the field of sales and marketing. As a sales intern, I have the chance to work
alongside seasoned professionals, learn from them, and apply my knowledge in a real-world
setting.
During my internship, I have involved in a range of sales activities such as conducting market
research, identifying potential customers, developing sales strategies, and closing deals. Am also
have the chance to developed my communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, all of
which are essential for a successful career in sales.
This internship has providing me with valuable insights into the world of sales, allowing me to
gain a deep understanding of the industry and the challenges faced by sales professionals.
1.2 Relevance to the topic
My domain is Analytics but the task-1 is sales, so topics below are relevance to sales.
Sales Strategy: Developing a sales strategy involves identifying target customers, determining
sales objectives, and creating a plan for achieving those objectives. Understanding the sales
strategy is crucial to a sales internship because it helps you understand the big picture and how
your day-to-day work contributes to achieving sales goals.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): CRM refers to the processes and technologies used
to manage customer interactions and relationships. Sales interns may be involved in entering

customer data into the CRM system, tracking customer interactions, and analyzing data to improve
customer relationships.
Product Knowledge: Understanding the product or service being sold is essential for a successful
sales internship. Sales interns should be knowledgeable about the features and benefits of the

Prospecting and Lead Generation: One of my main duties as an intern at Jiyonwall was
to support the prospecting and lead creation process. This involves gathering pertinent data for
further outreach and performing market research to find potential customer.
Sales Support: By helping to create sales materials, such as brochures, presentations,
and product information, this made it possible to track leads effectively and ensured that
communication within the sales staff ran smoothly.
Customer Outreach and Follow-up: During the internship, I actively participated in
customer outreach activities, which involved making cold calls and sending follow-up emails to
potential customers. I engaged in informative conversations, addressing their queries about life
insurance products, and highlighting the benefits and features. I developed strong
Communication skills and learned to tailor my approach based on the unique needs and
concerns of each potential customer.
Sales Meetings and Presentations: I had the opportunity to attend sales meetings and
presentations led by experienced sales professionals. These sessions provided valuable
insights into effective sales techniques, customer relationship management, and understanding
the diverse range of fitness product offered by jiyonwall. I actively participated in discussions
and absorbed knowledge on how to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.

Shadowing and Observational Learning: Throughout the internship, I shadowed
experienced sales representatives during client meetings and observed their interactions.
This allowed me to gain first-hand exposure to the practical aspects of selling companies
products, including building rapport, overcoming objections, and closing deals. This
observational learning experience was instrumental in enhancing my understanding of the
sales process.
3.1 Process followed and Methodology Used
By following these process and methodology, I ware able to effectively execute my assigned work
during the fitness product sales internship at Jiyonwall.
Training and Orientation: I went through extensive training and orientation meetings with
JIYONWALL before I started my internship. I became acquainted with the company's policies,
sales strategies, goods, and services throughout these sessions. I had a strong basis to
comprehend the procedures and methods used in the sales department thanks to this initial
training.
Mentorship and Guidance: Throughout my internship, I had the privilege of being
assigned a mentor who provided ongoing guidance and support. My mentor helped me
understand the nuances of fitness products sales, offered feedback on my performance, and
shared valuable insights gained from their own experience. This mentorship played a crucial
role in shaping my approach and improving my sales skills.
Target Setting: I extensively collaborated with my boss to set attainable objectives. I was able
to give my efforts a clear direction and purpose in my everyday actions by coordinating them
with the organizational goals. This allowed me to track my progress throughout the internship,
effectively manage resources, and priorities responsibilities.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaboration with colleagues was an essential aspect of
achieving the assigned work. I actively participated in team meetings, brainstorming sessions,

and group projects. By collaborating and sharing ideas, we fostered an environment of collective
learning and leveraged each other's strengths to enhance overall productivity.
Continuous Learning and Improvement: I developed a growth mentality and actively
looked for chances to learn and develop. I routinely self-studied, looked into market trends, and
went to webinars and courses pertaining to the marketing of life insurance. Due to my
dedication to lifelong learning, I was able to improve my abilities and stay current with industry
trends.
Documentation and Reporting: Throughout the internship, I maintained detailed records
of my activities, including prospecting efforts, client interactions, and sales outcomes. This
documentation allowed for accurate reporting and analysis, enabling me to identify successful
strategies and areas that required improvement.
3.2 Results Achieved
My internship in fitness product sales at JIYONWALL gave me practical expertise in a variety
of sales-related areas. The methodologies used in conjunction with the process I followed—
which included prospecting and lead generation, sales support, customer outreach and follow-
up, sales meetings and presentations, and continuous learning—allowed me to produce notable
results and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

4.2 Conclusion:
The internship training journey was a memorable and best experience. The learnings were huge.
I have found out what my strengths and weaknesses are related to my work life; It helped me to
develop a reading and understanding of the various latest technology. The project indirectly
helps me to learn independently, discipline myself, be considerate/patience, self-trust, take
initiative, and have the ability to solve problems. Besides, my communicate on skills are
strengthening as well when communicating with others. I was able to gain practical skills, work
in a fantastic environment, and make connections that will last a life me. I could not be more
thankful. The work which I have worked on for sales will help me a lot to understand the
marketing strategy.
