SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

I, ____, of legal age, Filipino citizen, with residential address at ______, do hereby name, appoint and
constitute ATTY. ______, of legal age, Filipino, with office address at ______ Philippines as my attorney-in-
fact with full power and authority to represent me in the case against _______ pending before

My attorney-in-fact is authorized to represent, appear and act on my behalf in all stages of the subject
case, whether original or appellate, to sign verification and certification of non-forum shopping and other
necessary documents, pay necessary fees, appear at mediation conference, Judicial Dispute Resolution,
and pre-trial or preliminary conference with full power and authority to do the following:

i. possibility of amicable settlement, and submission to alternative modes of dispute


resolution;
ii. enter into an amicable settlement;
iii. the simplification of the issues;
iv. the necessity or desirability of amendments to the pleadings;
v. the possibility of obtaining stipulations or admissions of facts and of documents to avoid
unnecessary proof;
vi. the limitation of the number of witnesses;
vii. agree to a preliminary reference of issues to a commissioner;
viii. agree on submission of position paper or other pleadings in lieu of formal hearing;
ix. agree on the propriety of rendering judgment on the pleadings, or summary judgment, or
of dismissing the action should a valid ground therefor be found to exist;
x. the withdrawal of complaint;
xi. agree on the advisability or necessity of suspending the proceedings; and
xii. such other matters as may aid in the prompt disposition of the action.

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto my attorney-in-fact full power and authority to do and perform all
acts necessary to carry into effect this authority, as fully to all intents and purposes as I can lawfully do if
personally present, with full power of substitution and revocation, and hereby ratifying and confirming all
that my above-named attorney-in-fact shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of this instrument.
