EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 This topographical survey was conducted to gather comprehensive data about the

existing terrain, structures, drainage system, and vegetation etc. within the surveyed

area. The aim was to provide a detailed overview for potential construction and

development projects.

 Methodology includes Setting up a network of accurately determined control points

across the survey area to serve as a framework for the survey, allowing for accurate

measurements.

1. The surveyed area exhibits a varied topography with gentle slopes in the

southern region and a gradual elevation towards the north

2. Elevations range from 98.110 meters to 101.178 meters above mean sea

level.

3. There is total 5 (Five) Numbers of RCC Buildings (Including the DME

Building) and a few numbers of Semi RCC buildings (Assam Type).

4. The internal and external measurements of Walls as well as numbers of

existing columns, sizes of each column were recorded for each building

separately for each and every floor and the rough sketches were prepared.

5. The existing drainage system comprises a network of Open and Covered

drains which are interns connects with the main Roadside drain.

6. Details of Internal / External Roads and any types of existing Structures

above the ground in the surveyed area are taken separately.

7. A total of 85 nos. of trees were recorded within the surveyed area. The girth

of the trees ranges from [Minimum Girth] to [Maximum Girth] centimeters.

 The presence of mature trees is beneficial for the environment and aesthetics. It is

recommended to incorporate measures to protect and preserve these trees during

any construction activities.


INTRODUCTION

APS Corporations Pvt. Ltd. is allotted to do the topographical survey work for the above
project.
OBJECTIVES

The primary objective to conduct this topographical survey is to:

i. To carry out Fly levelling using auto levels from the nearest GTS

Benchmark.

ii. To establish Benchmarks at 100 meters apart of permanent nature using

Auto levels.

iii. To carryout High Order Traverse using Total station and to provide

planimetric control points of permanent nature at an interval of 200 meters.

iv. To establish horizontal control point using Total station.

v. Preparation of site plan showing all the surveyed details as above using

auto plotters of suitable software.

vi. All Existing Structures like RCC/Steel/Assam type houses/ Internal &

External Measurements/dimensions and height of the structures (Floor to

Floor) to be specified clearly with layout plan/floor plan.

The other details which are to be collected during the survey are:

(i) All the Bench marks are to be surveyed.

(ii) All boundary like compound wall, Fencing, wire fencing, hedges etc. are to

be properly surveyed with relevant symbols. All boundary stones are also

to be surveyed and shown

(iii) Roads: Roads and others related structure like, culvert, bridge, foot path,

shoulder, toe etc. should be surveyed. Embankment height are also

required to be surveyed

(iv) Drains: Drains and related features like Valley, River is required inert

levels of culverts and bridges are to be surveyed. Depths of canal ditch or

channels etc. are required.

(v) Water Lines: Water lines like pipe line, OHTS, well, Fire Hydrant etc. are

to be surveyed.
(vi) All Electric pole, EB Stations, Telephone Lines, OFC collection, wireless

mast, Lamp post etc. are required to be surveyed

(vii) Building: All Building residential, commercial, Public etc. should be

surveyed.

(viii) All Existing Structures like RCC/Steel/Assam type houses/ Internal &

External Measurements/dimensions and height of the structures (Floor to

Floor) to be specified clearly with layout plan/floor plan.

Following details are to be surveyed and recorded in case of a building structure

1. Size of building (i.e.) length from each corner to corner.

2. Type of roofing

3. Name and No

4. Usage

5. Higher of the building

6. All the religious structures are to be surveyed and shown on the site plan.

Like temple, Mosque, Church, Gurudwara if any available at site etc.

7. Trees: All trees are to be surveyed for its positional accuracy. Names of

the trees, Girth etc. also to be shown on the site plan.

8. All others prominent feature is to the surveyed.

9. The surveyors should constantly contact with the under signed in case of

any doubt.
METHODOLOGY

1. To start the Topographical survey, a network of control points was set up across the

survey area. These are known as reference points or Permeant Bench Mark (PBM)

with accurately determined coordinates. 4 Nos. of such reference points Permeant

Bench marks were Set up at different locations across the area. Table below shows

the complete list of PBM and their locations:
