IF + PAST PERFECT → WOULD/WOULDN’T HAVE + VERB IN PP
• If I had woken up earlier, I would have arrived on time
• If Tom had come to the party, he would have had a great time
• We would have helped you with the dinner, if you had told us earlier
• If Laura hadn’t visited Italy, she wouldn’t have met her husband
