“DEPARTMENT HR” at Eternal Hospital Jaipur submitted research paper is my original

About the CEO of Eternal hospital

Dr. Pracheesh Prakash Pandey, Chief Executive Officer of Eternal Hospital Jaipur (EHCC), is
a multi-faceted individual. He is a postgraduate in internal medicine. His inclination towards
administration led him to get trained in general management at XLRI Jamshedpur. Apart from
his clinical exposure of over 7 years, he has hospital business experience of more than 12
years across a variety of functions, including P&L management, acquisitions, administration,
healthcare services, and clinical and non-clinical operations management.
Eternal family

Eternal family is approximately about 501 to 1000 members after every 3 months new
member comes and one retries.
Eternal hospital provides a healthy working environment to the employees also takes care of
employees by providing them free tea and coffee services.
Eternal hospital also provides leaves to the employees like sick leaves maternity leaves etc.

How does human resource department work?

Human resources department is focused on the recruitment and retention of employees within
a company. HR typically finds, hires (and fires), and trains employees. It oversees employee
relations and manages benefit programs for only in recruitments hr department also work in
solving the problems of employees and providing them appropriate amount of salary and
other benefits.
Why HR department is required?

Hr department is the backbone of the company because this department works for the
company as well as for the employees also help the company to grow and help to employees
to grow on personal level.
Why I chose human resource department?

I chose hr department because I am an extrovert person I love to meet and interact with new
people and socializing also human resource department can provide me with a lot of skills
like public relations, teamwork, negotiation skills , excel knowledge etc.

1. I was asked to call people who's resumes were there and ask them about there
experiences and past background.

2. I was also asked to shortlist the candidates having the skills required for the job role
and negotiate with salary.

3. During my 45 days internship my hr told me to socialize with employees and ask


them about the reasons they are leaving
2.Maintaining files

My HR asked me to maintain the files of employees keeping separators of green


yellow pink and blue pages where green contains all the training documents yellow
contains all the marksheet, certificates and other educational documents on the other
hand pink contains the personal information like Aadhar card pan card account details
etc and the last blue one contains his offer letter and appointment letter.

After all this I was asked to arrange the files according to their employee I'd.
3.Learned to conduct trainings

Mrs Poonam Goyal who was hr executive in eternal hospital use to take me in training rooms
to make me understand what basically training is and why it is required and how it is
conducted she is a great speaker and she bought confidence in me to speak in front of people
she really helped me a lot during my internship and because of her I was able to speak.

Induction is basically a welcoming process which is conducted for new employees to tell
them about the company. I watched inductions and learned how they takes place.
4.Maintaining attendance and overtime records

I was asked to maintain the attendance of the employees in excel where no of working days
were given and present and absent was mentioned I was asked to find out the days employee
were present so there was the formula for that in excel which was = countify( range ,'p') enter
after this I got the days the number employees where present in a month
On the other hand, for overtime, I was asked to check the duration of over time
from the files and multiply the regular rate of pay by 1.5 and multiply the result by the total
number of overtime hours worked.

The biggest weakness of the hospital is that hospital is mainly famous for the cardiac surgery
and heart patients also because of world class technology the expenses incurred by this
hospital is very high which can not be afforded by middle class and lower middle class but
the hospital is working to overcome the weakness by recruiting the best doctor's of diseases
like brain tumour , lungs transplantation, kidney problems etc also the hospital is trying to
reduce the cost of machines to decrease its price to make people achieve best health care.
Opportunities

There are several new opportunities coming for the hospital like
1) Brining new technology.
2) Working for disease like Brian tumour , kidney, liver etc.
3) Getting the award of best patient care hospital.
4) Being the first choice in terms of health care.
Threats of Eternal hospital

The biggest threat of the hospital is it's competitors who are trying to bring best kind of
technology by using less resources hospitals like MD CARE. Hospital.
KRIMS Hospitals.

Meditrina Hospitals Pvt Ltd. hospital & health care.

Are constantly trying to beat eternal hospital by playing against their weakness.

But the external hospital is trying level best to overcome the weakness and bring new
technology.
Conclusion

Working in eternal hospital was a great experience the working environment and the people
over there were very enthusiastic and dedicated towards work My HR Manager Mr Sunil
Soni and Hr executive Mrs Poonam Goyal helped me a lot throughout my journey they
have boosted my confidence I meet a lot of people over there who were very supportive and
helpful I learned a lot of things like trainings , inductions, maintaining files , maintaining
attendance etc also this internship made me a different kind of person by giving me corporate
experience working 9 to 5 at last I would like to say that I enjoyed working in eternal hospital
and health care centre. At last I really enjoyed working over there and learned lot of things.
