At the end of the 60-minute learning period, 80% of the students are expected to:

B. Motivation
Now, I will show you a picture based on the power
point presentation about some welding products, and
you must identify the picture showing on the slides.

Correct! The last object, What do you call this? Sir it’s an iron grill
C. Lesson Proper
Okay class let’s start the discussion, in our activity I
will show you three welding products, right? Yes Sir
We have window grills, steel gate, and an iron
grill. Where do you think those products were made Sir, those products are formed by welding.

Very good, those products were formed by welding.
So, let’s proceed to the parts of welding machine.
Let’s have the first one
Power source - a welding power supply is a device
that provides or modulates an electric current to
perform arc welding. (student will read the definition)
Second, Power Button – indicating that the welding
machine is activate or deactivate. (student will read the definition)
Next, Current Adjuster – use to adjust the welding
voltage.
(student will read the definition)
Next is, Electrode Cable – The electrode cable is your
welding lead, which delivers power to the electrode
and attaches to the electrode holder. (student will read the definition)
Next, Electrode Holder – is the insulated handle that
clamps onto the electrode. (student will read the definition)
Next is, Work Cable – a lead connects the machine to
the work. (student will read the definition)
Lastly is, Work Cable Clamp – is use to hold the
metal to be weld. (student will read the definition)
