A RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF THE NEWLY APPOINTED BARANGAY


SECRETARY

WHEREAS, Punong Barangay RAYMUNDO EGAN C. BARRANCO appointed SANTIAGO P. LAVARRO JR.
to
be the BARANGAY SECRETARY of Brgy. Santo Tomas, Janiuay and Section 394 (a) Chapter 5
Book III of the Local Government Code of 1991 mandates the concurrence of the
Sangguniang Barangay to the position of Barangay Secretary.

WHEREAS, SANTIAGO P. LAVARRO JR. possesses all the qualification and none of the disqualification as
Brgy. Secretary as provided in the same section of the Local Government Code of 1991;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Brgy. Kagawad NESTOR D. MADERO, and unanimously approved by
the
Sangguniang Barangay Members, be it;

BE IT RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved to concur with the appointment issued by Punong Barangay
RAYMUNDO EGAN C. BARRANCO to SANTIAGO P. LAVARRO JR. as Brgy. Secretary of Brgy.
Santo Tomas, Janiuay, Iloilo.

RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish copies of this resolution to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Office of
the Municipal Local Government Operation Officer, and all concerned local government
offices.
