In the pre-Industrial age from around 4.5 million years ago until the 1700s, early hominids relied on stone tools for hunting and gathering and created early forms of art and media like rock art. The Industrial Age from the 1700s to the 1930s saw the industrial revolution begin with new machines replacing manual tools and the telegraph enabling long-distance communication. The Electronic Age from the 1930s to the 1980s began using electricity to power new devices like the transistor radio and television, with the transistor's invention being pivotal in powering early electronics.

industrial revolution in Great Britain. It saw the shift from manual tools
to machines like the power loom and steam engine, revolutionizing
manufacturing for mass production. Additionally, the telegraph
enabled long-distance communication.

Electronic Age
(1930's - 1980's)
The Electronic Age, spanning from the 1930s to the 1980s,
began with the use of electricity to power devices like the
transistor radio and television. The transistor's invention was a
pivotal moment, powering electronics like radios, circuits,
and early computers. This era also saw the advent of air-
based communication.

Information Age
(1900's - 2000's)
The Information Age, spanning from the 1900s to the 2000s,
