Mixed Conditionals

The document discusses two types of mixed conditionals: Mixed A combines a type 3 conditional in the if-clause referring to the past with a type 2 conditional in the main clause referring to the present. This contrasts an imagined past event with the present result. Mixed B combines a type 2 conditional in the if-clause referring to the past with a type 3 conditional in the main clause referring to the past. This describes ongoing circumstances in relation to a previous past event. Several examples are provided for each type.
