Badminton Tactics: Creating Space

This document provides a lesson plan for a badminton tactics lesson focused on creating space on the court. The lesson teaches players to push their opponent back using overhead clear shots. It involves half-court singles games where players score by hitting the shuttle onto the opponent's side of the court. Through questions and drills, it teaches players that it is harder for the opponent to attack from the back of the court, so the goal is to force them back with powerful overhead shots. The second part of the lesson focuses on using high serves to put the opponent on the defensive at the start of the point.
