Kotak Mahindra Bank offers credit card upgrades at their discretion subject to eligibility criteria. Upon upgrade, the old card remains valid for 45 days and the billing cycle stays the same. Outstanding balances and rewards points transfer to the new card except for certain cards. Upgrade Terms and Conditions


1. Card Upgrade is offered at the sole discretion of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd subject to the customer
fulfilling the criteria at the time of processing. Kotak Mahindra Bank reserves the right to decide the
eligibility as per internal policy/guidelines. Kotak Mahindra Bank reserves the right to withdraw the
offer at any time as deemed right.

2. Upon upgrade, the old credit card remains valid till 45 days.

3. The billing cycle on the upgraded card will remain the same as the previous card.

4. The existing Outstanding Balance and Reward Points will be transferred to upgraded credit card.
Kotak IndiGo Ka-ching 6E Rewards XL Credit Card, Kotak IndiGo Ka-ching 6E Rewards Credit Card,
White Credit Card, White Reserve Credit Card, PVR Kotak Platinum Credit Card and PVR Kotak Gold
Credit Card are not eligible for reward point transfer.

5. On card upgrade, the existing card features will become invalid and the features of the upgraded card
will apply. Credit card once upgraded with prior customer consent cannot be re-instated to the old
credit card number.

6. The upgraded credit card might not be a lifetime free variant even if the existing credit card is lifetime
free. The Joining / Annual fee will be communicated at the time of upgrade.

7. Card upgrade will only be processed if the card account is in active status i.e. Card account should not
be delinquent or blocked.

8. Annual Fee waiver, on select credit cards, is based on Spends Threshold in 12 months
(For details Refer the Credit Card Features listed on www.kotak.com).

9. On card upgrade, the new card will be sent to the registered mailing address as per bank records.

10. The bank will not be responsible for non-receipt or delay in delivery due to non-availability of the
customer at the time of delivery.

11. The words and expressions used herein shall have the same meaning as in the card member
agreement. The terms of this offer shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms contained
in the card member agreement. The offer is voluntarily extended by the Bank. Hence request will be
entertained only for the “applicable offer pertaining to a customer”. Kotak Mahindra Bank cannot be
held responsible for financial/non-financial obligation caused due to withdrawal of offer or
non-implementation of upgrade.

12. Kotak Mahindra Bank reserves the right at any time, without prior notice, to add, alter, modify, change
or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace wholly or in part this scheme by another
offer, whether similar to the offer or not, or to withdraw it all together. All disputes, if any, arising out of
or in connection with or as result of the Offer or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Courts/Tribunals in Mumbai only.
