Dolphin show

The Dolphinarium in Varna is the only one in Bulgaria and the second one on
the Black Sea.
One day my family and I went to the pastry shop in Dolphinarium. While we
were eating, we were fascinated with the eye-catching dolphins. Soon we
approached the dolphins. There were three adult and two little dolphins. They
were diving and chasing each other.
We saw that there would be a dolphin show at 3 p.m. and bought tickets. We
entered a big hall with a pool in the middle. There were many people speaking
different languages. Some of them were going to take a video. The show began
and the trainers introduced the dolphins with their names. Then we heard
music and the dolphins started dancing in rhythm. At first they played rock and
roll, then waltz. I felt astounded. When the music stopped, the public admired
the dolphins with loud applause.
Thereafter the trainers hold a lath and the dolphins started jumping over it. The
lath was taken higher and higher. I was amazed by the dolphins’ breathtaking
leaps. The last jump reached 5 metres. Gained speed, the dolphins made some
delightful somersaults to thank the public.
At the last performance a child was put on a boat in the middle of the pool. At
first I didn’t understand the point of that. To my amazement, the dolphins
started pushing the boat to the corner of the pool. In this way they showed off
their intelligence and proved that they can save a human life. The dolphins’
behavior to the child was utterly astonishing.
I would never forget the emotions I felt. I understood that some animals are
smart and can save us in unexpected situations. Many of us have seen wild
animals on the TV but when you sее them alive it’s much more exciting!
