Title: A teacher’s sacrifice for the sake of her students
Scene: Teacher Hannah working overtime to make the lesson plan and powerpoints to be
presented on students for tomorrow’s discussion
*At 10pm sitting on the faculty room and typing her lesson plan
Co-teacher: Hannah, I'm heading home; are you not going home yet?
Teacher Hannah: Oh, take care, I’ll leave later because I still have to finish this ppt
presentation for tomorrow.
Co-teacher: You sure? You look tired already.
Teacher Hannah: Yes, I can manage, I'm almost done with this.
Co-teacher: Okay, if you say so, here drink this coffee that I wasn't able to drink since it might
help you remain awake because I know that you're exhausted. So grab this, and I'll be going
now. (Directives)
Teacher Hannah: Thank you so much, see you tomorrow!
*co-teacher left and hannah continues typing
*almost midnight hannah was feeling dozy and her eyes was half open
*her head bumped into her desk and that made her awake
*both of her hands slapped her cheeks and said
Teacher Hannah (speaking to herself): No, I got this, I’m not asleep. I will finish this ppt
presentation now. (Commissives)
*Teacher Hannah quickly return in typing
*Teacher Hannah finished it all at midnight and she quickly wraps up and go home.
THE NEXT DAY
*Teacher Hannah arrived at the school and was walking to go to her advisory class for their
homeroom schedule.
*Then she arrived at their classroom, she enters the room and her student surprised her
Students: For the best teacher like you, we greet you Happy teachers day our beloved adviser.
Students: You are the best teacher, teacher Hannah (Assertives)
*Teacher Hannah was shocked and had a big smile
Teacher Hannah: I thank you my beloved students, I didn’t expect that you would do this to me.
I’m beyond grateful today my cutie students. (Expressives)
*The students just smiled because they successfully surprised their teacher
*After that they had a class picture and then the discussion begins.
