Process Note for PRAN activation on NJ E-Wealth A/c

Steps Flow
Step 1 Login into E-Wealth A/c and click on NPS tab
Step 2 Subscriber to fill Aadhaar Number and press continue.
Subscriber fills in required details:
- Name to be printed on PRAN Card followed by either Father or Mother's name.
Step 3 - Registered Mobile No. (All NPS related communication will be sent on this no.)
- Selection of Account Type either Tier I or Tier I & II
- Press Next.
Subscriber fills in required details of selected NPS Account type. (Either Tier I or Tier I & II)
- Pension Fund Manager
- Scheme Preference
Step 4 - Bank Details (Pre-Populated and Editable)
- Nominee Details
- Press Next.
Note : Upload Bank Proof and PAN Card copy
- Subscriber verifies all the details filled.
- Subscriber will do E-KYC by OTP or Biometric (OTP will send to Subscriber's mobile number
registered with UIDI).
Step 5
- Subscriber will give confirmation by accepting FATCA & CRS Terms & Conditions.
(On successfully verification of OTP / Biometric, E-KYC will be processed and data will be fetched
from UIDAI website)
- On successful completion of Subscriber's E-KYC, PRAN will be allocated to the Subscriber.
Step 6
- Subscriber will have to click on 'View NPS Form' to enable link for E-Sign.
- If E-SIGN is successful, Subscriber will be redirected to the Payment Module.
Step 7 - Subscriber will provide Contribution Amount for selected NPS Account Type and proceed to
make the payment.
Step 8 On successful payment, there is a option to print / email the Acknowledgment.
Once the payment confirmation is received by Bank, PRAN will get activated on T+1 working day.
Step 9
T Day = date of receipt of payment confirmation.
Step 10 On successful activation of PRAN, Investment will be made on T+2 working days.

Important Points :

1 Currently First Holder of NJ EWA can open NPS Account with NJ.
2 NPS Account shall be opened on the name available with UIDAI only.
3 Photograph shall be printed which is available with UIDAI.
4 Signature shall be used which is available with NJ E-Wealth A/c.
Currently available banks: Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India & associates, YES Bank &

Karur Vysya Bank.
