haven’t seen those personally. They are really worried
about this matter because they aren’t familiar with how
the different landforms really look like.

3. Analysis
The teacher will discuss the Things in the
Surroundings and their Importance (Water Forms).
o Sea
The sea is a large body of water. It meets
the mouth of a river. Seawater is the habitat of
aquatic plants and animals.
o Ocean
An ocean is a body of saltwater. It is the
largest body of water. Most of the water that
covers the earth’s surface is ocean water.
There are many minerals in the oceans, but
salt is the most common.
o Groundwater
Groundwater may be found everywhere. It
may be found in a deep or shallow part of
the ground. It is a safe source of household
and drinking water. It is considered the
cleanest water.
o Spring
A spring is a water that comes from
underground and return to the surface.
o Lake
A lake is a body of water that surrounded
by land. The water of the lake comes from a
river. It is usually bigger than a pond.
o Pond
A pond is an area filled with water that is
smaller than a lake. It may contain shallow
water with aquatic plants and animals.
o Waterfall
A waterfall is water that rushes down a
mountain and falls-off.
o River
Rivers are flowing bodies of water. They
are in between lands and are usually crossed
by bridges. River water comes from a
highland.

o Clean water is used for drinking, cleaning,

people and goods from one place to another.

o Water may also be used in industries for
making products and in watering farms.
