AMPALAYA
Ampalaya (Momordica charantia) is a tropical vine that
belongs to the gourd family and is closely related to zucchini,
squash, pumpkin, and cucumber. Ampalaya has been
associated with several impressive health benefits such as:

Ampalaya is especially rich in vitamin C
It’s also high in vitamin A
It provides folate, as well as smaller amounts of potassium,
zinc, and iron

PRECAUTIONS:
Ampalaya leaves can cause hypoglycemia if consumed
excessively. Because ampalaya contains an insulin-like
compound, be on the lookout for low blood sugar symptoms like
irritability, drowsiness, and fainting.
According to studies, the bitterness of ampalaya leaves might
result in miscarriage or spontaneous abortion. Do not take this

Lagundi, scientifically referred to as Vitex negundo, is an
herbal remedy extensively utilized in the Philippines and India.
Lagundi contains Chrysoplenol D, a compound with
antihistamine and muscle-relaxing properties. Recently, this
medicinal plant has entered the commercial market, and
numerous pharmaceutical companies are producing cough
syrups from it.

Lagundi has been utilized medicinally by native
populations in the Philippines for generations, but it wasn't
until a book written by Spanish Jesuit Father Colin that was
published in 1900 that these capabilities were fully
explained.
Filipinos frequently used lagundi as a pain reliever and to
cure wounds. He also discovered that they possessed
extensive traditional knowledge of the various medical
benefits of every component of the plant.

PREPARATION:
1. Prepare all the ingredients and materials needed.
2. Cut 3 cups of the lagundi leaves into pieces or use a blender.
3. Place lagundi leaves in a bowl and add 2 cups of coconut oil
and mix them together.
4. Place the mixture on the stove and heat it for 30 mins to 1
hour.
5. After heating, let it cool and strain the lagundi oil at the same
time squeeze it to extract all the oil.
6. Place the oil in the container with a label.

A.K.A. Peperomia Pellucida "Pancit-pancitan"

It is much more used for hyperuricemia, there’s a clinical trial with adults
that have hyperuricemia and also healthy people. It showed a decrease in
the uric acid levels within 2 weeks of oral intake and by 7 weeks, the
average drop of uric acid levels reached 78% which has the similar
decrease of uric acid in taking the oral medication allopurinol with the same
duration.
People that complain with joint pain, after taking the ulasimang-bato for 2
weeks more than 85% had a satisfactory relief of pain. Lab results show the
normal outcome of those patients that use ulasimang-bato for treatment.

With having gout and arthritis it comes with the pain but some of the medication only

Anti-hyperuricemia property
Patients that use oral medication like Allopurinol for decreasing uric acid level have a
tendency to increase again the uric acid level but research shows that in herbal medication
there is no recurrence of hyperuricemia.
