3’ 2021 after raiding a cruise ship a day earlier. NCB was busting an alleged rave party going on the

Every Planet gives two types of results. They are (1) Positional Status and (2) Stellar Status.
To get Positional Status of a Planet, there are four types.
(1) When there is no Planet in it’s Star.
For example in chart I :- Scan the second column (ie) Starlord column. Sun, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu are not
appeared in the second column. So Sun, Jupiter, Rahu, & Ketu have got P.S. OK.

(2) When a Planet is in it’s own Star

For example in Chart I, Mercury is in his own Star and Venus is in it’s own star. Thus both Mercury and Venus
got Positional Status as they are placed in their own stars. OK.

(3) When there is a mutual exchange of their Starlord

For example in Chart I, Mars is in the Star of Saturn and Saturn is in the star of Mars. Thus both Saturn and
Mars have got P.S. OK.

IMPORTANT NOTE:- In CIL Both Rahu & Ketu will give the results of their Signlord and Starlord.
The Principle is that any Planet in the Star of Rahu or Ketu will be treated as if the Planet is also in the Star of
Planets which Rahu or Ketu represents.

(4) When a Planet in the Star of Rahu or Ketu and the Planet itself represents Rahu or
Ketu:-
(a) When a planet is in it’s own Star rule and another one is
(b) Mutual Exchange of their Starlords.

When a Planet in the Star of Rahu or Ketu and the Planet itself represents Rahu or Ketu: - (a) When a

We have seen at least one time Astrology or Jyotish since our birth. There are so
many Jyotishis or Astrologers who use different methods of predictions depending
on their knowledge and training from their Gurus.
There are different systems of giving predictions since long time. Some of them
may be enumerated here as Parashari system, Jaimini sytem, Ashtakvarga, Naadi
system or recently in the 20th century Krishnamurthi Padhhati or popularly known
as K P system.
Still today Parashari system of astrology is mostly used by majority of astrologers.
Let us understand that which system should be used for predictions in this
contemporary period. For this I will put some real time truth.
Today the population is increasing or better to say it is exploding at the rate of one
child birth per 2.5 second. And also we know that every child or individual is a
unique in this world. There is no common destiny provided for two or more
individuals by God. For this we will understand some basic principles of astrology.
Zodiac is of 360 degrees and comprises of 12 Rasis and 27 Nakshatras. One Rasi is
of 30 degrees and Nakshatra of 13 degrees 20 minutes. According to traditional
astrology Nakshatra is further divided in four padas of 3 degrees 20 minutes. There
is also a concept of Navamsha (Nine parts of a Rasi) which corresponds to 3 degrees
20 minutes.
The duration of one Nakshatra is of 24 hours approximately. Thus, a pada will be
of 6 hours. There is no further division of pada when we see in Vedic system
astrology. All Lagnas are running everyday of 2 Hours duration approximately
(though it is not correct). Duration of Lagnas depend on the latitude of the place.
The ascension time of Lagnas are categorized in three modes – short, medium and
long.

The population of India is 139.87 Crores with annualized addition of 1, 35, 86,700
births at a rate of 1% approximately.
I have stated above that the contemporary birth rate is per 2.5 second. This means
24 births in a minute and 1440 births in an hour. For a Lagna duration we can say
that 2880 child births are to be analysed for prediction if we give prediction
according to Nakshatra method. Thus, if we follow Nakshatra pada system of
prediction we actually detailing for 720 charts. The destiny of these natives cannot
be similar.

Shri K. S. Krishnamurthi ji (1908 – 1972) moved further for sorting this problem and
developed a new system of predicting the events scientifically by using same Rasi,
Nakshatra but using Placidus system preparing the houses or cusps. For this
purpose he decided to divide Nakshatras further what he called that division as
SUB LORD. For doing this he used the time period years of the planets according
to Vimsottari Dasa. Sun has a period of 6 years duration as minimum and Venus
have 20 years as maximum in the Vimsottari Dasa system. So, the sub period of
Sun in Sun Nakshatra is 0 degrees 40 minutes and that of sub period of Venus in
Venus Nakshatra is 2 degrees 13 minutes 20 seconds. Thus, he was able to bring
down the charts for 64 births in Sun sub and 214 births in Venus sub approximately.
But here also the uniqueness of native is challenged. In KP astrology Sub Lord is
regarded as Supremo and every aspect of life are read from the respective Bhava
CSL.

Readers can understand that whether it Nakshatra or Nakshatra Pada or Sub

division of Nakshatra (Sub Lord) will be characterizing not less than 64 charts.
Shri SP Khullar ji thought a little further and he decided to divide this Sub Lord in
another unequal parts according to Vimsottari Das Period and he called that part
as Sub-Sub Lord. Here, the lowest division of Sun and highest division of Venus sub
is 2 minutes and 22 minutes 13 seconds respectively. So, in Sun sub-sub Shri Khullar
ji was able to lower down the birth of natives to 2 to 3. Again he had made use of
Naadi literatures. He divided the sub-sub in two parts where he called the parts as
“arc”, one less than 50% and other greater than 50%. This was done taking in mind
the concept of gender i.e., male & female.

There are certain rules defined in Cuspal Interlinks Theory (SUB-SUB THEORY) for
study of the charts. This will be discussed in next issue.

Let me remember the great scholars of this divine system. Shri SP Khullar ji
invented the theory of cuspal interlinks theory. Shri R S Chani ji, Shri Daya Krishna
Gupta ji, Shri S K Anil ji and Smt Harshda Jain ji, from whom I have gathered
knowledge of this divine science directly or indirectly. Thanks to Shri Mukesh
Gupta ji also who have developed a great software “True Astrology” for this very
divine science. True Astrology software have all the data of Parashari method, Nadi
system of Shri Umang Taneja ji, KP system and of course cuspal interlinks theory.
The great feature of this software is that the chart is of one page only. All the
required fields related to the chart are available on the main page. This software
is very much easy for working.

In this system the chart is casted using Placidus system and taking the cusp as the
beginning of the house. Khullar Hourly Ayanamsha, Geocentric Latitude and True
Nodes should be used. Also the Notation should be applied.

The chart should be casted with accurate data i.e., Date of Birth, Time of Birth and
Place of Birth. The longitude and latitude of the place should be very close to the
birth place. The Ascendant degrees rising in the eastern horizon or the sidereal
time changes by approximately 15 seconds for every 1 second change of time.

The Zodiac is divided in the Stellar Astrology System into 27 equal parts each of 13°
20'. And this part is called Nakshatra or Star. Each Nakshatra is allotted the ruler
ship of a Planet. Each Nakshatra is then divided into 9 unequal parts. Each part is
called the Sub. Just like Nakshatra each Sub is also allotted the ruler ship of a
Planet. Lastly, each Sub is further divided into 9 parts and each such part is called
Sub-Sub and is allotted the ruler ship of a Planet.

In Sub-Sub Theory, the smallest sub-sub is of Sun sub-sub in Sun sub that is of 00°
02' 00" (read as 0 degrees 2 minutes 0 seconds) and the largest sub-sub is of Venus
sub-sub in Venus sub that is 00° 22' 13".

Each Planet according to its longitude when transiting will be in a particular Sign
(Rasi Lord), Star (Star Lord), Sub (Sub Lord) and Sub-Sub (Sub-Sub Lord). For
example, Sun of 24° 58' 21" in Libra sign can be noted that that it is in Venus sign,
Jupiter star, Mercury sub and Rahu sub-sub. This will be shown by the software in
the Planetary Table which is illustrated below.

The Positional position (or PS) of a planet plays an important role in the cuspal
interlinks theory. We know that a Planet provides the various results in the in its
Dasa. If a planet has Positional Status, this means that this particular Planet is
capable to give its results in its Dasa Period. Let us have some ideas how a Planet
gains Positional Status in a chart.
A Planet is said to have positional status if there is any of the following conditions:
1. There is no Planet in its Star zone area.
2. The Planet is in its own Star i.e., the Planet is placed in the zodiacal area of
the Nakshatra (Star) which is ruled by the Tr. Planet itself.
3. There is mutual exchange of Nakshatra (Star) lords.
4. When we find a Planet is in the Star of Rahu/ Ketu and the Planet itself
represents Rahu/ Ketu. E.g., Mars is in the Star of Rahu. Here Rahu in this
chart is placed in Venus Sign and Sun Star. If this Rahu happens to be in either
Mars sign or Mars Star, then Mars could have gained PS. A Planet in the Star
of Rahu/ Ketu can also be considered as in the Star of the Planets that Rahu/
Ketu represent.

Planetary table as shown above in the first column above indicates the zodiacal
position of Planets at the time of birth of the native or a horary chart.
The Planets various Lordships are placed in rows. The zodiacal position of the
Planets is defined by four columns. First column indicates the Sign in which the
Planet is placed. The second column indicates the Star. Third column indicates its
Sub lord and the last column indicates its Sub-Sub lord.

Take the case of Sun in the above Table. Sun is in Libra 24° 58' 21". The reading of
the Table indicates that Sun is in the Sign ruled by Venus, the Star ruled by Jupiter,
Sub ruled by Mercury and Sub-Sub ruled by Rahu.

There is a practical view to analyse how a Planet has positional status or not can
be understood by following method:

Scan the second column in the Planetary Position Table (shown as STL) from top
Sun to Ketu and check if that Planet appears in any row or not. If the Planet does
not appear in any row other than the row which is for the Planet itself, then the
Planet is said to have positional status. Similarly scan the STL column to find out if
there is mutual exchange of Nakshatras (Star Lords) between the concerned Planet
and any other Planet in the table.

Let us determine the Positional Status of all the Planets one by one in this chart.
Let us read Planet Sun whether it possess PS or not. If we scan the column of STL,
we find that Sun appears as the STL of Rahu. Condition 1 does not fulfilled. So, Sun
does not have PS. Wait, we haven’t completed our study. Sun is in Jupiter Star. So,
Sun does not have PS. Condition 2 is not fulfilled. If Sun is in Jupiter star, then see
Jupiter whether Jupiter is in Sun Star. No Jupiter is in Mars Star. Thus, condition 3
is also not fulfilled. So, Sun does not gain PS. For fourth condition Planet has to be
in Star of a Node. Here, Sun is not in Star of either Rahu or Ketu. Condition 4 also
not fulfilled. Thus, we can say that Sun does not have PS.

Now, let us study the Moon whether it has PS or not. Check all the four conditions
enumerated above for gaining PS.
➢ Moon is in its own Star. Thus, according to condition 2, Moon gets PS.

➢ Mars is in Star of Rahu. Condition 1 and 2 not fulfilled. Rahu is in Star of Sun.
Condition 3 is also not fulfilled. Rahu represents Venus and Sun. Condition 4
not fulfilled. Thus, Mars does not qualify any conditions, so, no PS.

➢ Mercury attains PS according to condition 1.

➢ Jupiter does not gain PS because it does not qualify any of the four
conditions.

➢ Venus gains PS according to condition 1.

➢ Saturn does not gain PS because it does not qualify any of the four conditions.

➢ Rahu does not gain PS because it does not qualify any of the four conditions.

➢ Ketu does not gain PS because it does not qualify any of the four conditions.

The theory of Positional Status is very important in this Theory. I hope I have tried

Conditions for Marriage Timing through Transits

1. Transiting Saturn, Jupiter and Mars must connect to 1st and 7th houses or their lords in natal chart
both inclusive.
2. When the above condition is fulfilled, Transiting Saturn allows the event to take place within 2.5
years, Jupiter within 1 year and Mars within 6 months.
3. Also, within the same period, Jupiter and Mars must connect to 5th and 9th houses or their lords
both inclusive OR They can also connect to natal venus and 5 th house/lord.
4. The 7th lord in transit within 40 days of marriage must connect to either 1st or 9th or 11th lord.
5. At the time of marriage through PAC 1st, 5th, 7th, 9th lords will be mutually connected and will be

• The first condition of Saturn is met at that time because Saturn is transiting 7 th house since 10th
November 1993 and allows marriage for 2.5 years till 10th May, 1995.
• Jupiter turns retrograde in Libra on 28th Feb 1994. Here it aspects 1st and 7th lords by retro aspect.
It aspects natal Venus from Libra and natal 5th lord Jupiter with retro aspect. Hence the condition
is met.
• Mars enters in 1-7 axis on 28th Feb, 1994 and creates a cut off of 6 months till end August, 1994
where it must fulfil condition # 3. It does so on 8 th August 1994.
• 7th lord Saturn connects to natal 11th lord Mercury at that time and ALMOST all conditions are
fulfilled to give marriage. BUT MARRIAGE DOES NOT TAKE PLACE because the last
condition is not met where PAC between 1 st, 5th, 7th, 9th lords needs to be created around
the 1st and 7th houses/lords.

There are no further satisfactory combinations till

• Saturn turns retrograde on 30th Aug 1999. Here it aspects 1st and 7th natal lords with retro
aspect creating a 2.5 year cut off till 31st Jan, 2002.
• Jupiter turns retrograde on 29th Sep, 2000 creating a 1 year cut off till 28th Sep 2001. Here in
Taurus it connects to 7th natal lord and with retro aspect connects to lagna. It also aspects 5 th
and 9th lord in Capricorn meeting the conditions.
• Mars is in Leo in 1-7 axis and and meets the initial cutoff for 6 months till March 2001. It fulfils
its 2nd condition on 13th Dec 2000 when it transits Libra and aspects natal 5th and 9th lord in
Capricorn.
• The 7th lord Saturn in transit from Taurus aspects 11 th lord natal Mercury on this date and
continues to do so for some time fulfilling the 4th condition.
• Lagna lord Sun enters 7th house Aquarius on 13th Feb 2001 creating a PAC of 1st, 5th, 7th, 9th
lords around the 1st/7th house or lords.
