Anggun Heath Beauty Spa Enterprise provides high quality service on the treatment. There
has been a need for Spa in Dungun for a long time, which from prompted this company to
develop this business. Our company plans to offer quality health and beauty services at
competitive price. The nature of our business is spa service. This company provide service on
treatment such as sinus, cupping, massage, facial and scrubbing. Anggun Health Beauty Spa
provide services to conform to customers’ specification and needs. Anggun Health Beauty Spa
believe that most working people especially or any people need this service because the
majority of them are need to be healthy with beauty.

Our target market is working people which is 21 years old to 55 years old living in Dungun
both male and female. There is no other spa that provide service that focus on both health and
beauty. Anggun Health Beauty Spa is their own uniqueness in providing the services as they
use natural ingredient product to deliver service and use technology such machinery equipment
in giving a treatment to customer.

Anggun Health Beauty Spa have six people in charge for departments in our company.
Firstly, Haziq bin Ibrahim as our manager, Nur Nadiah Hafizah bt Harun as an administration
manager. Then, Nurul Ainun Syamimi as our marketing executive. Next, Siti Norashikin bt
Zulkefli and Tengku Athirah bt Tengku Mansor as operational and production manager. Lastly,
Abdul Wazein bin Abdul Wahab as our financial executive. All of these person also carry on
responsibility as worker in operation and production of the service in spa.

Anggun Spa Healthy Beauty is the name of our business with the tagline ‘Healthy
comes with Beauty’. This tagline give meaning that treatment of body and health must be
take care first because beauty comes from within and how the company look is depending
on how the company care about our body.

2.2 NATURE OF THE BUSINESS


Anggun Spa Healthy Beauty is a company which focuses on services. The company
focusing in providing services such as treatment face facial, body scrubbing, massage, sinus
and cupping treatment.

more high quality imported raw material product and machinery.

Symbol pf peony flowe that resemble of health and beauty. Green colour of peony
flowe symbol resemble nature to show that the businesses used natural product that
symbolic of health. In addition, the pink colour of word “Anggun” resemble feminine which
pink colour is symbolic of beauty. Lastly, the black colour refer to key colour based on
CMYK colour based.

3.1 EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT.

Demographic
Demographics involved location of Anggun Health Beauty Spa that is strategic to attract
many institutional organizations such as university, school and also government institution.
This involve people from all generations, since young to elderly. The uniqueness of our
location is because there is no spa develop near to our build. Therefore, people will tend to
visit Anggun Health Beauty Spa rather than go to the Dungun City. So, it is advantage for
residential area having spa around their area.

Technology
Many spa rely on technology to sustain the quality service and product. Modern spa is more
preferable in this technology era. They used high quality of machinery equipment for their
service which cause effective treatment to the customer. Then, the used of machine give
effect on the time consuming for treatment which it can be reduced. Moreover, the number
of personnel also can be controlled.

3.2 COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

Competitors is important element that must be identified. Based on the competitors,


price can be measured by comparing the price of the competitors offered with market price.
Based on the observation, Anggun Health Beauty Spa has three competitors which are
Ladies Spa, Spa Village Tanjong Jara and Zarona Muslimah Spa. The difference between
the company Anggun Health Beauty Spa and Ladies Spa is focus only on women especially
pregnancy women but Anggun Health Beauty Spa is focusing on both gender, men and
women. Besides that, there are large difference of Spa Village Tanjong Jara and Anggun
Health Beauty Spa which is the price and environment of the spa. It can be seen as Spa
Village Tanjong Jara is an exclusive spa that located in private resort. So, it is difficult for
outside people to reach their spa and the price also very expensive. Anggun Health Beauty
Spa is not exclusive as it located at public area which can reach many people and the price
is affordable that suit to every range of income for working people either men or women.
Lastly, the difference between the company Zarona Muslimah Spa and Anggun Health
Beauty Spa is in term of the type of customer. Zarona Musimah spa focus on muslimah
women only but Anggun Health Beauty Spa focus without care about customer’s religion,
race and ethnic. Hence, Anggun Health Beauty Spa still concern about the mixing of women
and men. For example, men worker will serve men customers only and same goes to the
women.

Anggun Health Beauty Spa segmented customer based on geographical,


demographical and psychographic. On geographic, Anggun Health Beauty Spa choose
Dungun districts as the location of Spa. It located specifically at Dungun sub districts Bandar
Dungun Kuala dungun. This place located at strategic place where total targeted customer
is 2340 peoples.

Based on demographic, Anggun Health Beauty Spa focuses on all races and both
gender, man and woman. Also, either teen or adult people. Mainly provided service to the
ladies but also provide the service to man. The people who employed and engaged in higher
education pay more attention about their beauty and health but are unwilling to pay the
exorbitant charges associated with it. Teens also consider more about beauty reasonable
prices and convenient. People who has sinus problem.

On psychographic, this segmentation involved in dividing spa market into segment


based on different personality traits, values, attitude, interest and lifestyle of consumer. It
gives advantageous to allow spa engage with the customer. For example, people who has a
busy lifestyle also care about healthy health, People who care about their beauty. The
company targeted for high and medium social class. Personal values for example beauty
and healthy.

Anggun Health Beauty Spa the company built entirely concrete building with a modern
design styles with glass wall in the front of the building, it to make the building looks
interesting and fashionable to the guest. This building also the company built around 20 000
square feet area for the whole landscape, with a large space area is needed to fulfil the
requirement for Anggun Heath Beauty Spa to make sure the environment of the centre can
give a comfortable and relax feeling for the guest and also to complete the sufficient
services.

b) Major factor affecting market growth

I. Social Change
Nowadays, people change with time. Many working people like to spend more time at the
spa for treatment. This can be seen from group of working women is the highest number on
visiting the spa especially during the weekend. It was the easiest way for them to release
their stress while getting the beauty and health treatment even though the price is quite
expensive. It is relevant to our spa that offer beauty and health treatment for instance facial
treatment, body scrubbing, massage, cupping and sinus treatment.

II. Economic

High and medium income average people affected the market growth due to level of
employment. Monthly employment income is indicator that give clue to demand for
consumer goods. For instance, people who have high income tend to use high quality of
services. It can associate with spa industry that this group people want to have better service
with technology used. That is the reason why Anggun Health Beauty Spa target on working
people either men or women for their target market.

Lifestyle of each person is differ based on their background. This involved type of job,
position, salary and class. In spa industry, mostly customer come from working group
people. This due to their lifestyle that have no enough time to get a treatment by themselves

So, they have several factor that affecting consumer behavior which are economic factor
that includes personal income, level of standard of living, personal factor such as age,
occupation, lifestyle and personality, psychological factor such as motivation, involvement
and motivation. Cultural and social factor includes social class, social group and role and
status. Besides that, technological advancement involves the technology usage in industry.
As the company can see in spa industry, machinery equipment for treatment is the
technology used. The advancement in technology caused by the sophistication and high
quality of an equipment in order to give high quality service. Then, competition also one of

affordable price with long-term discount such as voucher discount of 5%. From the name of
the spa itself which comes health first, customers will know that our spa contain health
services that can give them physical health benefits. It is our main specialty as our spa
offered sinus treatment and cupping treatment. The beauty services that offer such as facial,
body wash and body scrubbing are attractive specially to working women that need a
relaxation after busy day life and enjoying time getting pampered at our spa with high
quality service.

Key technologies is the most importance source of digital sorting to convey service to
customer. Technology is common source in spa because it is the requirement of spa to use
machinery equipment to do certain treatment such as facial treatment, sinus treatment and

1) Differences between companies what is currently on the market and what Anggun
Heath Beauty Spa will offer.

a) Types of service
Anggun Heath Beauty Spa focus on beauty and health treatment which difference with spa
in the market as the spa developed in market focused only on specific treatment. For
example, medical spa is only for medication of treatment. Meanwhile, Anggun Heath
Beauty Spa is focusing on beauty and health by offering sinus and cupping treatment. Sinus
infection is one of the reason for skin problem. Sinus need to be treated first then the skin
will be getting better. So, Anggun Heath Beauty Spa offer free sinus checking for all their
customer before getting the treatment.

b) Price
Spa in market are offering too high and expensive price for per treatment. For instance, the
price above RM200 normally offered by spa per treatment. However, Anggun Heath Beauty
Spa offer only RM200 and below per treatment.

c) Promotion
Others spa normally will give promotion only on seasonal festive to attract customer comes
during public holiday. It is differing to Anggun Heath Beauty Spa which is every purchase
of more than two treatments, the company will give them special discounts such as every
purchase of up to RM 100 will get 8% of discounts. This tactic will surely attract many
customers and existing customers to come at our spa.

2) Detail of Services
a) Facial treatment
Facial treatment is a treatment that target the skin main concerns according to each person
skin type. Facial treatment in Anggun Heath Beauty Spa involve exfoliate, nourishing,
whitening, moisturizing and cleaning. It is depending on the treatment that suit to skin type.
This treatment used natural products from different brand such as Real Nature, Rose Foam
Cleanser (Nature Republic), Eco Science White C Pore, Double Serum (Innisfree), and
Olive Real Essential Rich Oil (Innisfree). The benefits of these products are the natural
ingredient insides and high quality imported products. Some of these products are not sell

in Malaysia market instead of Anggun Heath Beauty Spa need to purchase it through online.
The feedback on the products is good from many customers have used. As these products,
are the famous products in the origin country.
b) Sinus treatment
Sinus treatment is not famous in spa industry. Spa industry in Malaysia only focus on beauty
and other kind of the company illness. There are many sinus treatment centre in each district
but their marketing strategy is not effective as people do not believe with their effectiveness.
Anggun Heath Beauty Spa provide this treatment because it is necessity to give awareness
that everyone has sinus issue but how they receive the sinus infection is different. Anggun
Heath Beauty Spa use Corong resdung cengkih Herbanika (50 pieces) and Gaia herbs Sinus
comfort (16 teabags) for this treatment. This material is from natural ingredients.
c) Cupping
Anggun Heath Beauty Spa provide cupping therapy as they are alternative medicine in order
to help relaxation and blood flow. Anggun Heath Beauty Spa used the cup that made by
glass. Malaysia has been issued about this cupping treatment when citizens argued about the
cleanliness of cupping glass used. So, Anggun Heath Beauty Spa put this treatment into spa
industry to inform that cupping treatment is safe for their health as Anggun Heath Beauty
Spa followed the procedure to carry on this treatment.

Massage treatment is a basic treatment that usually offered in spa and what kind of
ingredients and also style of service used will differentiate between spa. Anggun Heath

for alacarte sinus treatment RM45, facial treatment RM85, massage RM60, body
scrubbing RM85 and cupping RM90. Based on the pricing above, the Sparkle
Package includes body scrubbing, massage and facial. Meanwhile, the Relaxing
Package provides cupping and massage. Anggun Enterprise offers Shining Package
which include facial and sinus. The price that the company fixed already referred
to their factor which is marketing objectives, demand and supply and also

Position Task and Responsibilities

• Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the
marketing department
• Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with
