Follow this to install on Windows 7/10 & 11.
THIS IS CLEAN, LEAVE ANTIVIRUS ON :)
1. VolvoIt.Installer.Bundle.Cookies
-run VolvoIt.Installer.Bundle.Cookies
2. 2. Installer Assistant run Installer Assistant
3. KG Installer Assistant run KG Installer Assistant
4 open Lock Hardware ID paste Hardware ID (CTR + V)
-Generate
copy file VolvoIt.Installer.Bundle.Runtime in folder Installer Assistant
-run Installer Assistant
- Run Installation Bundle
- User ID XX77207
Password XX77207
No UPDATE CLIENT TECH TOOL
1. Right click "1..install" and run as administrator
It will install needed files to update.
2a Start client update, 2..Client Update
Click" Search for Updates" if you need to
It will Install fido..
Then - Install update 130, uncheck then check 2.8.130 ONLY
- uncheck Client Update 2 and VOCOM 2 DRIVER you can update
later !!!!!!!!!!!!!
If after 1 1/2hr the computer is inactive then Restart, as it can hang some
times.
Be sure it has hanged as early closure will result in bad install(No GX folder
etc)
Once updated to 2.8.130 close Client Update
3.
APCI, copy folder from 3_APCI folder
- DtR & OtD to C:\ProgramData\Tech Tool\Waf (Folder might be hidden)
- Tech Tool Services to C:\Program Files (x86)\Tech Tool
Double click on PTT_TechTool
4. Post, copy folder from 4_Post.
- in Tech Tool . DELETE ALL EXECPT GX !!!!!
- unzip and Copy folder "Tech Tool" to C:\Program Files (x86)\Tech Tool\
Copy apcidb.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\Tech Tool\Tech Tool\ApciPlus
4. Install USB-Link(NEXIQ driver) if needed.
RESTART PC
Start TechTool, its will fail with code BAF10099, user mismatch.We will fix next.
If it gives any other failure then you didnt copy files from 4. correctly !!
5. Copy foldr TechToolLicenseEditor to C:\
- click search/start then type "cmd" then right click run as admin !!!
-This will open a terminal windows
- Type "cd \TechToolLicenseEditor" then type "run" click ok
- TechTool 2.6/2.7 Editor will open.
- change UserID to P123456
- PartnerID US000000
- change "User type" to Developer
- change "MainBusiness Area" to OEM
- click Erase DB Full
- click Create DB with new key
- click Patch Login
- if all goes well and no error's close windows(including
cmd window)
5. I f that fails, use the License edito method in Volvo Premium TechTool 2.8.X
5a Open 5_License folder then open Product_History folder and double click
ProductHistory.
5b If you want Developer Tool follow instructions in folder.
5c If you want Date_FIX
RESTART PC
IF NEED ie Error when plugged into machane or not enough parameters change APCI
Run Working APCI.exe to copy APCI.
Open TechTool then close
- open folder C:\ProgramData\Tech Tool\Waf\ProductProfile
-then right click on ProductProfileConfigInfo and select edit/open with
notepad.
- change the date in line "<LastCheck>" to 2030.
Now TechTool is installed.
If you cant access all parameters or techtool gives error connecting to machine
- REPLACE APCI WITH ONE FROM 3.APCI. You can try until you find the one that
works, just make sure techtool closed before you replace files in WAF !!
TIP
- If you get error, try STEP 5. again
- If you have trouble opening vocom 2 settings or vocom 2 cant connect.
- Right click Communication-Unit-VOCOM-II-4.7.0.1157(5.) and select repair.
That should fix it.
