Clean Logo Reveal - Instructions
Clean Logo Reveal - Instructions
PROJECT INFO
- This project is compatible with CS4 and all newer versions of After Effects
- Clean Logo Reveal (NO Plugins required) - NO PLUGINS REQUIRED for this version, because effects
are pre-rendered.
- Clean Logo Reveal (Optical Flares Required) - Video Copilot OPTICAL FLARES plugin is REQUIRED for this
version.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open one of the two project files from unzipped "Clean Logo Reveal" folder. If you don't have installed Optical
Flares plugin, you need to open "Clean Logo Reveal (NO Plugins required)" project file.
2. If you are using After Effects version above CS4, on opening you will get this message:
It's just information that project is created in earlier version of After Effects. Click OK, "Save" project (with any name
you want), and proceed to editing.
LOGO EDITING
Import your logo image with the alpha channel (transparent background - PNG, Targa...) or in vector format (AI for
example) to the project.
- V1 - Logo Placeholder
- V2 - Logo Placeholder
Double click on the first "V1 - Logo Placeholder" composition to open it.
Turn off or delete existing text layer and place your logo (drag and drop) on his place.
Repeat the same process for second Logo composition (V2 - Logo Placeholder), or if you want to use the same logo in
both versions, just copy/paste logo from first (V1 - Logo Placeholder) to second composition (V2 - Logo Placeholder).
TAGLINE EDITING
After you are done with logo composition, go again to the "! LOGO - TAGLINE Placeholders" folder in the project tab.
Inside there are 2 Tagline compositions, one for each animated version
(the same as logo):
- V1 - Tagline Placeholder
- V2 - Tagline Placeholder
Double click on the first "V1 - Tagline Placeholder" composition to open it.
To edit "Tagline" double click on the text layer, and when the text is highlighted type your text. Use character tab for
font size and other text adjustments.
Repeat the same process for second Tagline composition ("V1 - Tagline Placeholder").

version):

PLACING AUDIO TRACK
If you like audio track from Videohive preview you can purchase it on next link:

Import music tracks to the project, and then in the project tab expand
"Audio Placeholders" folder. Inside you'll see audio placeholders for
both animated versions.
- V1 - Audio Placeholder
- V2 - Audio Placeholder
Open Audio Placeholder for version for which you want to add music, and place (drag and drop) your music inside
from the beginning of the composition (00:00:00).
After that, music will be automatically synchronized with the beginning of the animation in the final composition for
that version.
...and also inside folder "! 720p Versions" you have 720p versions
included:
- FINAL V1 - Longer Version 720p
- FINAL V2 - Shorter Version 720p
Select one of them, then go to "Composition menu" on the main bar and select "Add to Render Queue" option.
"Render Queue" tab will pop up with selected composition inside.
Inside "Render Queue" tab click on "Output Module" option. Pick video format from drop menu and in format
options pick codec which you want to use.
Don't forget to check "Audio Output" box to enable sound in video render (from CC version this is automatically).
In the "Output To:" option set where you want to save file. Then click on the "Render" button on the right side and
wait After Effect to finish rendering.
In newer versions of After Effects (from CC 2014) there's no possibility to export video directly to H264 format. To get
that format you can send selected Final composition to Adobe Media Encoder where h264 format is supported:
Composition > Add To Adobe Media Encoder Queue
AFTER THAT JUST IMPORT THAT MASTER VIDEO BACK INSIDE AFTER EFFECTS, OR DRAG AND DROP IT TO ADOBE
MEDIA ENCODER AND RE-RENDER IT TO ANY OTHER FORMAT/RESOLUTION/BITRATE IN A MINUTE.
