JOB TITLE : In-House Counsel

REPORTS TO : Corporate Counsel

Job Purpose:
This position will assist the Corporate Counsel in ensuring legal compliance in order to
protect the interests of the Company. The incumbent will assist the Corporate Counsel in
supervising the legal matters of the Company and help in advising on both, contentious
and non-contentious matters. The incumbent will be expected to liaise with external
lawyers, attend court proceedings (if required), review any related documents required to
be filed in Court and oversee the progress of on-going cases.

The individual will be responsible for drafting, vetting and reviewing of Contracts, MOUs,
Addendums, LOI and other business documents assigned by Company / Internal
Departments from time to time. He / she should be able to provide legal advice and support
to Internal Departments of the Company in matters related to Regulators and / or relevant
agencies. He / she should also be able to research and update legal and regulatory
compliances related to Corporate Regulators i.e., SECP and PSX.

Education: LLB (Honors)


Experience: Minimum 6 Years. Preference will be given to candidates with prior
experience with law firms having worked on corporate advisory and litigation.
Technical Competencies: MS Office, Familiar with Online Filing of Regulatory Bodies,
Learning Agility, Business Acumen, Foresight and Identification of Trends, Corporate
Governance Understanding and Crisis Management Ability.
Non-Technical Competencies: Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Leadership
Skills, Analytical Skills, Attention to Details and Emotional Intelligence.
