Troubleshooting AAFD Issues
Voice Issues:
● Please make sure you connect the headset (USB preferred).
● Goto Settings→ Audio → Toggle Audio Output/ Ringer Output/ Audio Input → Select
the right audio device → Click on Test
● Once you click Test you should hear Audio and if you’re not hearing anything you
didn’t select the right device.
● Once the right device is selected, Click on Save and restart the application and test.
●
● If you’re still facing issues even after having all the above device settings in place,
please disconnect your wifi and connect your laptop to a mobile hotspot and check
Audio.
1. If connecting to a mobile hotspot fixes the audio issue then you have
to involve your Internet Service Provider to fix the issue. They can turn
on/off the SIP ALG depending on the existing settings and check.
● If you’re still facing issues even after following the above steps then the only option
is to Re-install the sound drivers.
● Search Device Manager in Windows search → Open it → Sound, Video and game
controllers → Right click on drivers under controllers → Uninstall (here you can see
an example of High definition Audio Device)
● Once you uninstall the drivers, restart the system with your headset connected and
it’ll install the required drivers
● If the above didn’t fix, Uninstall the application → Delete the Avaya data from
C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Avaya → Reinstall.
No audio on AAFD when Google Meet is active:
● If you’re facing no audio issue when you’re using your google meet then your system
is not supporting multiple apps to use Mic/Speaker at the same time.
● You can try the following settings and if it didn’t fix the issue then it is a system
limitation.
● Goto Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Sound → Playback/ recording → Select
the device used → Advanced → Tick the exclusive mode.
Disposition not loading:
● If you’re facing disposition issues please make sure the following settings are
followed:
1. You have to connect to VPN (For Accops Turbo Mode should be ON) and should be
able to access the link http://172.16.14.209:8080/fk-avaya-disposition/ directly from the
browser.
2. If it is not accessible, please make sure Turbo mode is ON and you’re using the right
gateway that was provided to you.
3. Delete the Screenpop settings and re-add them back from here
4. If the above didn’t fix, Uninstall the application → Delete the Avaya data from
C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Avaya → Reinstall.
