Introduction
• Diabetes has 2 types. First type is from the infection that attack the
insulin producing beta cells in pancreas. Second type is the
common diabetes that people always get. It was cause by people
lifestyle and genes.
Method in collecting data
• We do research on internet about public knowledge like bmi
meaning. We do google docs about the personal thing like
respondent height and weight. We also do research on textbook to
know the basic knowledge in this theme.

What is bmi?
• Body Mass Index (BMI) is a person's weight in kilograms divided by
the square of height in meters. A high BMI can indicate high body
fatness. BMI screens for weight categories that may lead to health
problems, but it does not diagnose the body fatness or health of an
individual.
How obesity can cause diabetes
• Well, obesity causes increased levels of fatty acids and
inflammation, leading to insulin resistance, which in turn can lead
to type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes, known as non-insulin
dependent diabetes.
Breakfast diet meal for diabetes person
•1. Eggs
• - Eggs are delicious, versatile, and a great breakfast choice for people with diabetes.
• 2. Greek yogurt with berries
• - Greek yogurt with berries is an easy, tasty, and nutritious breakfast option that suits
individuals with diabetes. According to some studies, eating dairy products may
improve blood sugar control and lower blood sugar levels. It’s speculated that this
may partly be due to yogurt’s probiotics, which help your body break down sugars

• - Oatmeal is a nutritious breakfast dish made from steel cut, rolled, or instant oats.
Although oats are relatively high in carbs, oatmeal is a good option for people with
diabetes because it may help lower blood sugar levels due to its high fiber content

• 1. Serve a bowl of soup and a salad, for example, tomato soup with
a kale and apple salad.
• 2. Eat a high-fiber, whole wheat wrap, such as turkey with hummus,
cucumber, tomatoes, feta cheese, and olives.
• 3. Choose a burrito bowl but skip the rice, keep the beans, add fajita
vegetables, chicken or tofu, lettuce, pico de gallo, avocado, and
salsa.

• 3 ounces of meat, fish, or poultry
• 1 ounce of meat or cheese
• 1 cup or 1 medium fruit
• 1–2 ounces of nuts or pretzels

How to prevent diabetes
• a. Work Out Regularly
• •We need to do some exercise or physical activity to prevent diabetes. This is because exercise can increases the
insulin sensitivity of your cells. So when you exercise, less insulin is required to keep your blood sugar levels under
control.
• b.Drink Coffee or Tea
• •We can drink coffee or tea to prevent diabetes . This is because coffee and tea can reduced the risk of type 2
diabetes by 8–54%, with the greatest effect generally seen in people with the highest consumption. Coffee and tea
also have antioxidants known as polyphenols that may help protect against diabetes.
• c.Optimize Vitamin D Levels
• •Vitamin D is very important blood sugar control. This is because people who don’t get enough vitamin D, or whose
blood levels are too low, have a greater risk of all types of diabetes.
• d.Quit Smoking
• •People who that always smoking must to stop smoking to reduce the risk of getting diabetes . This is because
smoking can increase the risk of diabetes by 44% in average smokers and 61% in people who smoked more than 20
cigarettes daily
