GROUP ASSIGNMENT
1. Purpose of the Assignment
This project is intended to check your understanding of the effect that individuals, groups and
structure have on behavior within an organization. This can also be a prevailing learning
experience in recognizing the role behavior plays in the realization of organizational
objectives.
2. General Direction
Make the target of your analysis any one of the organizations in the country that you are
familiar with.
3. Study Topics
Critically analyze the behavior of any organization of your choice at individual, group
and unit levels in the organization.
The Title may look like the following:
Analysis of behavior at individuals, groups, and structure levels in XY

4. Some Guiding Questions to Consider During Analysis
How do the structure and its information flows affect individual and group performances?
How does organizational culture impact individuals and groups behavior within the study
unit?
How does a work process affect individual, group behavior as well as structure?

How does attitude affect individual, and group performances?
How does motivation systems affect individual, and group performance
How does diversity management shape individuals and groups behavior?
To what extent the performance measurement system enhanced the individual and group

6. Assessment Criteria
The group project will make up 30% of your total mark from which 5% goes to individual
presentation while the rest 25% to the paper (report). It will be assessed based on the following
criteria:
