1. Discuss in detail what is Historiography of Ethiopia & the Horn


2. Compare and contrast Zagwe Dynasty (C.1150-1270) and the “Solomonic’’ Dynasty
3. Compare and contrast the cause and consequences of the religious reforms made by
Emperor Zara-Yaqob (r. 1436–48) and Spanish Jesuit, Afonso Mendez ordered
reconsecration Catholicism as a state religion in 1622.
4. Cause, process and consequences of the rivalry between the Christian Kingdom and
the Muslim Sultanates.
5. Explain in detail about what Gada System means, Gadaa system elements of
democracy, Gadaa Grades Based Roles and Responsibilities, the five Gadaa classes
and Gadaa centers.
6. Identify cause, process and consequences of Adawa battle.
